I have drank many of beer at Chief's because I too was stationed at NAS Atlanta doing TAR duty. I was stationed in the photo lab and made PO2 by being there.

I lived across from Belmont Hills. Does anyone remember the Jewel Tea grocery store and Fat Boy's restaurant ?

The Big Star was a spinoff from Colonial Stores.

The Hollywood bar was really good and you can still find them sometimes in W/M or Dollar Tree.

The lease sign was up earlier this week.

I did the refrigeration on Richway, Big Apple and Colonial Stores. That was all we had as major stores. I remember when Kroger, Winn Dixie and Cub Foods came to town.

My 2 favorites are Mounds and Bit O Honey. I just left Elrods with a 1# bag of delights

The ones found yesterday was on property owned by the first person arrested. They don't appear to be fighting dogs so it's possible they were kidnapped and looking for a reward.

Hind sight isn't as good as fore sight-- I have rode out hurricanes in the military and that's no fun. Head for the hills.

I was on one last week that handled truck/trailers and it isn't that massive. Our company drives it numerous times a day.

The only question I have is how was this sale approved or who approved the sale of COUNTY owned equipment without it being surplused out ?

I just returned from an 11 day trip in Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin. There are 1 and 2 lane round-a-bouts everywhere and traffic light and heavy flowed great. Bring them on.

They are in Polk, Floyd and Haralson counties.

Years ago Paulding county had several locations where there were dumpsters to take the trash, junk, leaves to. They were removed when two things happened- the economy tanked-- but primarily the people who used it were to lazy to put stuff in the dumpster. I used them and the last time I took something there the dumpster divers were inside the dumpster and throwed my bags back out.

It was there a couple of months ago when I had to go over on Austell Rd.

We don't have a problem with them flying over from the neighbors. The charge was $50 and we just have them do it monthly during the mosquito breeding times.

The stand at Hwy.92 and Hwy.120 has our vote. Big John has great melons and cantalopes. Normally they have one cut so you can taste the melons. He also does good boiled peanuts.

I agree with Lt.Dan. We had ours treated by Wesley Johnson Exterminating and have nothing but good luck. They too will return for free if any are spotted. Our tech Tony gave us his cell to call him directly so he could get back quicker.

Dr.Mike is who we use however he has moved to Acworth. He is behind the Rite Aid on Hwy.41 just above Hwy.92
