  1. I saw Prince in Nashville about 7 years ago...AWESOME concert! My ipod thingy includes: Keith Urban, Katy Perry, John Mayer, AC/DC, Kenny Chesney, Big & Rich, Jason Mraz, Warrant, Kid Rock, Uncle Cracker, Casey James, Neal McCoy, Bob Seger....and many many more...LOL
  2. Thanks to those who have said HI to me! I actually didn't see fireworks in Paulding last weekend, but I did get to see several pieces of shows on my drive back to the Carolinas, which was pretty cool!
  3. Your question was not too invasive. Not trying to hide anything, but also not taking out anmy billboards to advertise anything, ya know? Might try the Square. I wondered if the park ion 61...what is the name of it...White Oak maybe...was doing any?
  4. Yes, It is justcritty now. We still talk but are not together. I am doing pretty good. Actually coming to Paulding tomorrow and stay til Friday night or Saturday---anyone know where the best place to go see fireworks will be that won't be completely slammed? I may be coming down more for a while--my mom had a stroke last year and my brother has pretty much been handling everything for the past 7 months with her and he asked me to try to come down for some dr appointments. My dad also died in November, so the last year has been quite evenful for me.
  5. I don't know who a lot of people are anymore because so many have come and gone and those still here have changed names. I am still in NC, but just missed my p.com family and wanted to come on here and say hello. If you knew me back when...please say hello, and if you had a different name back when, tell me what it was. So nice to hang out with y'all!
  6. Many prayers for surepip. He is one of the first p.commers I got to know.
  7. Does he happen to take a medication that causes twitches? A lot of cholesterol meds do and sometimes switching to a different one can make the twitches much better if not stop them completely.
  8. I completely understand. Froggy and I moved to NC 3 and 1/2 years ago leaving behind all our friends and family in GA. If I could find a good job, we'd move back.
  9. Prayers for your mom and your family (including you). What state does your mom live in?

    Froggy

Just wanted to let everyone know the latest about froggy. In case you didn't read the previous thread about him, he was admitted to the hospital on March 18th and underwent emergrency surgery a couple of hours later for gangrene. He had to have quite a bit of necrotic tissue removed and a few days later had to have a second surgery to further remove additional necrotic tissue. The second surgery seemed to leave good healthy tissue, but the wound is huge 42x7x8 cm. Since he's had a wound vac, which is a blessing and a curse. Because of the location of the wound, it has been very difficu
  11. That is so bizarre. Maybe it was a sign to remind you about me???? LOL. Thank you for your prayers.
  12. address is now listed in first post.
  13. mine's the best (lol). Just kidding, but I do make pretty good lasagna.
  14. thank you all for the prayers. THey are planning to extubate him (again) this morning...we hope! The address is a p.o. box (I just got it a couple of weeks ago and it is near the hospital (easy pick-up), but I can't remember the zip code, so I have to check it) and then I'll post it.
  15. Thanks. I grew up in PC and Froggy spent about 1/2 his younger years in PC. I think we are ok. I wonderd if you came much anymore. His mom might wish to hitch a ride up if you were. He's at Mercy.
  16. Yes, we are in NC. He is in the hospital in Charlotte. Thank you so much.
  17. I wanted to let folks that remember us know that froggy is currently in the hospital in ICU and could definitely use the prayers of all who are willing. Last week he developed an infection, came into the ER on Thursday nght and ended up having emergency surgery Friday morning (last Friday). He was pretty bad off, but has recovered miraculously so far which we are certainly attriuting to all the prayers. He had to have another surgery today (he's in surgery as I write this), but we are hoping this is just to do some wound cleanup and to help get him on the road to healing. I know some of yo
  18. I remember him from years ago when we used to go to church with him at New Testament Baptist. So sorry for the loss.
  19. So sorry for the loss this family has experienced.
  20. I heard that they had a white sheet over one vehicle...which may indicate a fatality, but I cannot be certain since I neither witnessed the incident, nor know anyone who did.
  21. Did his wife Kathy also graduate from PCHS? I know a Kathy Green that I graduated with (she wasn't Kathy Green then, Green is her married name), but she would be older than he was...so I am not sure if it is the same one. The Kathy I knew graduated in 1988.
  22. I looked and can't find one listed anywhere. While a lot of people say they'd like Saturday night services, most of the churches I've seen do them are not able to sustain them based on the work and cost it takes to put them on based on the attendance/participation rate.
  23. working in a church where cremation is favored has sort of changed my viewpoint. I grew up thinking that the only way was to have a casket, be buried and that was that. You knew how much someone was loved by how mnay flowers showed up (don't say I'm wrong, because at funerals in the south, that is often how people see it). However, the particular denomination I currently work for doesn't really do flowers (only flowers on the altar are permitted at the actual church I work in) and folks are often cremated and their ashes are buried in a memorial garden. It's actually quite nice. It makes
