Apparently the Marshall isn't going to do anything. I used to live on that side of the county and there's a few houses on that side right together and they are all trashy and it been that way a good 20 years.

I know for the past week folks have been driving like bats out of hell! I see at least 2-3 wrecks everyday when I'm out and it's just folks in too big of a hurry and not paying attention.

 

I had a guy nearly run into my rear the other day.........I don't know what he was doing but we were headed north on 92 through Hiram after the railroad bridge before the light where it bunches up. I always look ahead and saw traffic was stopped, so I tapped my breaks a couple of times hoping he would see. He was right on my butt. Well, traffic stopped and he almost didn't, I thought I was going to have to swerve off to the right shoulder.

 

He was probably on his phone.

 

I'm especially careful right now because people are driving so crazy!! Damn, I don't want to spend two hours on the side of the road waiting for a wreck being written up and cars being towed..........I've got too much to do! LOL

I'm just gonna say I had respect and enjoyed my job when I worked for Southern Bell and then Bell South. I'm glad I was able to retire after AT&T took over because of what they did to their customers. And are still doing.

And the lawsuits I was talking about had to do with AT&T charging for the highest priced DSL while you were only getting the speed that was available in your area over copper. I don't care how much you pay, you can't make it any faster than it is.

 

You can only get real speed on fiber.

And I have Comcast and have for over 20 years and thankfully I've never had any serious problems.

 

I can't stand AT&T. And while I was still working there it was a major objective to get everyone cut over to U Verse and I think if you're still on DSL you are throttled. I think some lawsuits proved that.

I've never used my provider as my email address. My very first email account was with yahoo and I have that same address I use for everything since 1996.

I breastfed 2 babies in 1977 and 1980 when breastfeeding was NOT cool. In fact everyone tried to talk me out of it. But I was a rebel and did it my way, successfully because my mother and grandmother helped and encouraged me.

 

I can assure you of this: you would never know that I was nursing unless I wanted you to know.

 

I think these new nursing women must think they're the first to ever do it and by God they can do it anywhere and anytime they want. They've become militant about it and that's just not what it's all about.

 

Sometimes the most appropriate thing to do is excuse yourself but we live in a generation where it's all about "me"........and let me take a selfie while we're at it with the baby latched on and a dinner size plate aerola.

I read about this on FB. You ain't been in jail 'til you been in Fulton County. Maybe some brothers will get a hold of his candy ass. And he got warrents in Cobb, Douglas and Dekalb. Maybe he won't be getting out for a long time.

I didn't know that East Hiram Pkwy was being referred to as "Bill Carruth Pkwy" I'm so sick of Paulding Co renaming the roads, just because they think someone who did great wonders for the county, needs to have a road named after them!!!! NOT!!!!! Dedicate a bench at the Courthouse Park or a room at the Taj Mahal Courthouse we have but, leave the road names as Road Names!!!!

 

AND.... Why was fool not in jail??? If he was accused of the murder (or whatever the charges should be) of Topper, why was he not in jail???

 

 

I'm just impressed it's Bill Carruth Parkway from the start to finish................unlike Hwy 278 which has a new name every couple of blocks of the way.

I guess it depends on where you're going in D'ville, but I never use 92. On this side, I use Bakers Bridge. I've even taken Liberty Road to I-20 to get where I'm going over there. So much easier. When I lived on the other side of the county near Cobb I would use Brownsville and come out at the Greystone.
