Is everyone camping out in the political forum?
lowrider replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Wait until the elections are over and there won't be anyone posting .................. . I've had it on every night, and I still don't know who I'm pulling for since it's been a long time for both teams. . -

Oh my goodness, all I know is when there is a primary, you have to choose Republican or Democrat ticket. If there is a close race, like there was this year with Chairman, choose your ticket wisely. If there is a run-off, you can only vote in the run-off if you voted on that party ticket. The General election is wide open. You can vote for whomever you want. And I've never been asked what side I'm registered with, only which ticket do I want, In the primary.

Mine doesn't change it. It knows I mean it when I say it. LOLOL

Yeah you don't want too much moisture. Between 30-40% humidity. Also I have a large Honeywell that is cool mist. This is what I add to the tank to cut back on bacterial growth. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0055522EM/ref=pd_aw_sim_201_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=V3D3KGZFGHN7QAFV69D7 .

Blonde I found this When the air you breathe is too dry, the mucus in your nose and sinuses won’t flow properly and your sinuses won’t drain as well as they should. Congestion can then lead to sinus pain and sinusitis. Sinusitis experts agree that adding humidity to the air with a humidifier is generally good for sinus health. "Humidifiers can help nasal congestion in that they provide for more moisture and humidity within the nose," says Mark A. Zacharek, MD, residency program director for the department of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

That's what we did when I was a kid. Always had a teapot full of water in the heater/stove. As far as mold in the humidifier I've never had that problem. I wash my out from time to time and there's a little thing you can put in the water container. I'll see if I can find a picture. I buy fresh ones every season.

I've used them for years. I have a large one I use in the living area and it actually makes it warmer. Humidity always feels warmer and keeps your skin from drying out. No more static electricity either. I checked into having a system installed to work with our furnace but it was just too expensive. .

Just like prisons-for-profit How's that working out?

Mine too until I thought of the humidifier. We haven't had any moisture in the air at all., inside or out. I use them in the winter because we have a heat pump and the air is so dry. But since we were still running the air, which makes the air even drier, I said to heck with it and started using the humidifier at night. And no more headaches.

That's the best place I can think of to see it come up. Take lots of pictures! .

We're about to see a record-breaking supermoon - the biggest in nearly 70 years The closest full moon in the 21st century If you only see one astronomical event this year, make it the November supermoon, when the Moon will be the closest to Earth its been since January 1948. During the event, which will happen on the eve of November 14, the Moon will appear up to 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than an average full moon. This is the closest the Moon will get to Earth until 25 November 2034, so you really dont want to miss this one. So how do you get a supermoon?

I was glad to see the fog this morning. I have a fine mist on my deck and furniture which means the trees and grass are getting a tiny bit of badly need moisture. The humidity has been so low for at least a week I've had to use a humidifier at night to get some moisture in my sinuses.

I agree the governor's hype is "failing" schools. You vote Yes thinking he's going to fix failing schools, you're mistaken. It's just the first step for them to take control away from local boards and give it to some yahoo the governor has appointed.
-
So you're willing to give control to the State with hand appointed rulers? That can come in a fire a teacher just because? I don't agree. I know we've got problems but education starts at home and these children in failing school systems don't have much of a decent home life. Why should I be surprised?

LOL that is pretty creepy I was sitting in the chair off to the right and I made them come get the candy. Some were really scared. We had the coolest witch that never shut up!! . She was cool! I saw the pictures. They always have a blast at Halloween

If I remember when the fight was going on with the Mexican place and they left and whether drinks could be served in Dallas proper, the residents don't want anything new, no noise, no traffic, no nothing. That's why we don't have anything in such a pretty town square with beautiful fountains.

I noticed Buddy's had some of their pumps wrapped and the prices are up to $2.29 To $2.39. That's what I saw when I was out. And I was on a 1/4 of a tank, otherwise I wouldn't have worried about it, but it looks like a repeat of September.

I just got gas at the Ingles at NEBO. There's only about 3 pumps left with gas. It's begun.
