  1. Imagine if it was reversed. You're white, having a birthday party on a lovely day with all the family and little kids. A bunch of black thugs pull up yelling "Black Power and death to all the white folks, especially the little kids" all while pointing their AK's at you. You don't know if you're going to live or die. Especially you're children. I don't think any of you would take it lightly and would want them prosecuted to the max.
  2. My great uncle could do it. Did it to me and my cousins. No warts!
  3. That's the first concert my husband took me to in 1975 at the old Atlanta auditorium. Crazy. I later refined him by taking him to see some decent groups. LOL
  4. And they were on the national news tonight.
  5. I've been hearing about it for a couple of days. I thought it was bad enough they were parading their white racist hate by saying racist remarks but when I found out they were pointing shotguns at the folks at the Birthday party and saying "shoot the n*****s and the little n*****s too", I thought the sentence was appropriate. She's 25 with children. I bet she wishes she hadn't gone on that joyful, drunken hate filled ride. Getting drunk causes irreparable damage sometimes. Thank goodness no one was shot or killed.
  6. From what I read, he suffered a stroke post-opt after heart surgery. So young, so sad.
  7. Perhaps they have already been signed? Before seeing the notary. I know my bank will but the papers have to signed in front of the notary. Good luck.
  8. Dr. David Gose with East Paulding Wellstar. They're just up from the new hospital. He also has a great PA Ramona and even when you're sick you can get in that day or the next. What I like about both is they will listen, especially Ramona.
  9. I did ours about two weeks ago and the State refund hit the bank in a week. We have to pay Federal every year but the state refund helps offset it.
  10. And I thought this was about drugs......PCP. LOL I like mine. He's with Wellstar. Been going to him since 1998.
  11. Well damn! I just looked it up and it is indeed closed. I don't get it. Back in 1998,'99,2000 I worked at Bell south at Perimeter and ate there all the time. And then we moved to Midtown and then I heard they closed. The food was so fresh and so good. You can't find a Tex-Mex anywhere.
  12. For a hamburger today. The best pickled jalapeño's I ever had came from Rio Bravo. Ray's on the River has opened up a Rio Bravo just this side of their restaurant. I've been wanting to try it. I get pickled jalapeño's at Popeye's and they're good. They're like $.25 each.
  13. Surepip, you tell MELISSA to call me. The sun is supposed to come out tomorrow and Friday will be 79. Great day for High Shoals. My only problem with taking the rugrat, he always gets in the water. Kids don't care how cold it is.
  14. Maybe it's just me, but this doesn't sound like Laurie. I think she's been taken over by someone else.
  15. I had pulled up the commercial and watched it. They were fully clothed, not close together, nothing weird to me. Like someone above mentioned, some men are raising their children alone.
  16. Like I said above, it's been a couple of decades since I ate nasty KFC. They've redone the Big Chicken and I've heard it's clean and the chicken is good. But I'm not driving to 41 and Roswell Road just to get chicken.
  17. They have spicy and it's hot, I love it, but no one else around here does. I'll go by some days and get 3 or 4 chicken legs for the rugrat. He loves them. Just try to get it when it comes right out of the fryer. Don't go on a slow day where it's been sitting for a couple of hours. And I actually eat their mashed potatoes and gravy. I think they're real, or the closest to real that I've ever had at a fast food place. I usually won't order them except a Popeye's. Now I don't like their red beans and rice, but maybe it's because I make my own and it's so good.
  18. I love Popeyes. And I agree, Churches is the best but it's usually in high minority areas so there not one around here. I haven't been to a KFC in decades, especially the nasty one in Dallas.
  19. I love winter break and spring break and all the breaks they get. We do things together, we sleep late, we go to the movies on $5 Tuesday and Thursday will be 75 and we're going to Kennesaw Mountain and Friday will be 79 and we're going to High Shoals Falls.
  20. I kept wondering why didn't keep that clock running with 3 minutes left. I'm beyond sad we lost. That was our game, it was supposed to be our time. I still say they should have done a rewind. His knee hit the ground before he got the ball over. And no I'm not bitter, just disappointed, especially with that young team working as hard as they did. I miss Tony, but I'm watching Julio Jones.
  21. If all of these women want to protest with vaginas on their head and they're willing to take in immigrants from Muslim countries, why don't they spend their energy and money to make a change for how Muslim women suffer from genital mutilation, child marriage to older men, stoning and death for trying to get an education? I guess because it wouldn't benefit them. Honor Diaries is a 2013 documentary film by producer Paula Kweskin. Honor Diaries explores violence against women in honor-based societies, with particular focus on female genital mutilation (FGM), violence against women an
