Can you say gross? Ridiculous? Over-zealous? Even babies on bottles get weaned somewhere around 2 years old. Breast feeding beyond that to me would indicate that there is some psychological issue going on.

I grew up on a farm with yard chickens. When I was about 4 or 5 I decided to pick up a chick. The mom was on me in a second flogging me all over with her spurs. I never did that again When we moved to Georgia we had a chicken farm. Two houses of layers and they would have to be caught after their laying would play out and bring in a new load of chickens. My friend down the road decided he would help catch chickens one night. He was scared to death of them and left. He said they were all staring at him and ready to attack. He never offered again.

I think until 2...........although after 1, I probably said he almost a 1 1/2 or he's almost 2. But after 2 that's enough with the months. Good grief, these new moms

He showed up at the grammy's with a cane. That's when I read about him needing a new hip and he wouldn't have it done because he's a Jehovah Witness and won't sign for a blood transfusion. I love the saltwater system. I put a small 15' round one up for the grandbabies (4 and 5) this summer and it's been great. I haven't had to fool with any chemicals yet. And both of them are swimming under water and ready for big time swimming. I wanted them to learn this year!!
