Kristina Brown awake according to Bobby Brown
lowrider replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Actually from what I was reading earlier in the week, although Bobby got custody of taking care of her, her estate will go to the Hustons, mainly Cissy, the mother of Whitney. That's how Whitney had the will written should Bobbi Kristina die before receiving all of the estate, which she hasn't. So far I think the only payout has been $2M. -
Kristina Brown awake according to Bobby Brown
lowrider replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is an old topic. Her eyes were reportedly open but she has never woke up. And I agree, he's crazy. As of now she's in hospice and they're planning on finally letting her go. Now all they have to do is fight over the money. -
Thank you.

I personally am glad that Roy Barnes got rid of ours and he knew it would cost him dearly-he lost re-election And yes, it was brought back as Georgia's flag in 1956 to protest integration and Brown vs The Board Of Education. No, it won't stop racism, but hopefully I won't have to see it flying at any state capitals anymore in the south. -
Actually he should be able to discuss it over the phone and make a space for you. Maybe you should consider another doctor.

I just talked to Melissa and he's doing better today. He got up and walked a little with help and he's been sitting up and eating. But he's not out of the woods yet. Here's the text she sent: We had a Rough night, but blood count numbers are better. The bleeding is slowing down. He accidentally pulled out his pick line. All in all he is getting better. Complaining about the food but cleaning his plate. Thanks for all of the prayers Melissa

Buying a gas grill. What do you recommend?
lowrider replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We got a Members Mark at Sam's 10 years ago. It was the mother of all grills. 4 cabinet doors, one with a cooler and 3 drawers, one to hold paper towel rolls. It also has a slide out tray to clean the grease that it catches and another slide out to put wood chips in to smoke. A burner on the side, 3 double grill burners with a tray up top for corn, etc and a motorized rotisserie that we used today for 2 chickens. All burners are electric start. Knock on stainless steel, we haven't had to replace anything yet. But I was looking at the heat plates this weekend because we do need to replace t -

Since this has gone to Page 2, I thought I would repost so folks wouldn't have to look for the latest messages. Melissa appreciates all prayers and thoughts!

More prayers please. Seems like he's having some problems today. This is a message I got from Melissa : he's bleeding internally again in his left lung. They are giving him another unit of blood. This makes 3. If it doesn't stop they will have to go back in. I'm praying its all going to take care of itself. He's resting well most of the time, it's the best medicine for now. Love ya Melissa

This was on the news at noon on WSB and also on their website: PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Hundreds of people turned out Saturday night to remember two high school sweethearts who were killed in a crash this week. Investigators are looking into a new witness account that could change who they hold responsible for the crash. Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes went to the vigil at Paulding County High School. She said hundreds gathered in the school parking lot, to pray for Janeal Priester and her boyfriend Nick Wright. Priester had just graduated from Paulding High and was on her way to co

Such kind words Dana. This has me upset as well. I can't believe that it has happended to two sweet, promising young people. My grandson and his girlfriend were both friends with Janeal. I rode by the memorial twice today on highway 61 and there was a crowd of folks there both times. I just left the memorial at the high school and there was such a huge turnout. I'm so proud of our community coming together to offer support and help at such a tragic time. It just makes me so sad for her family and saddest of all for her mama. I'll post a couple of pictures from my phone. Ch

Feel in' better?

You're jumpy and shaky because you're blood sugar dropped. It makes me feel real bad if I don't eat and let mine drop. You need to keep you're numbers up this weekend and insist on seeing your doctor Monday. I don't know why your numbers are dropping, but I know it can be dangerous. Even deadly. Also, have you had your vision checked? Diabetes can cause a lot of vision problems.
-
You might do some online searching. I have low blood sugar and mine stays around 70-80. WEB MD During the day, levels tend to be at their lowest just before meals. For most people without diabetes, blood sugar levels before meals hover around 70 to 80 mg/dL. For some people, 60 is normal; for others, 90. What's a low sugar level? It varies widely, too. Many people's sugar levels won't ever fall below 60, even with prolonged fasting. When you diet or fast, the liver keeps sugar levels normal by turning fat and muscle into sugar. A few people's levels may fall somewhat lower.

Maybe some orange juice with sugar in it. Again something with sugar to bring your numbers up. Start snacking more often. Good luck!

Summertime Fantasia I know you folks don't like her, but this is one of my favorites and I knew when she sang it on Idol that night, she would win. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGnak9GsiOY
