I think I was a little hard on the original poster, I dont really know what he/she goes through on a daily basis trying to find the right fit.

Yes we do have a relationship, my wife and I and even with my daughter. We are working on the sitting down for dinner thing, my work has taken me into the night so its been difficult. There really isnt more to this other than my daughter is different and has been since a young age. I think the perception of my daughter is I am intimidating, I get that response often from people but there is no real cause other than perception. Wish I could change that. I agree being gay isnt the same thing and NAMBLA should not be grouped with the rainbow house. I suppose I misunderstood your post but used it to make a point about Christians and these Westboro Baptist, No offense. Personally I see the difference between Muslim extremists and Muslims.

Its been since 1993 when I got out and haven't been in control for a long while BUT I have to take a deep look at the control thing for sure. Last night after playing basketball we went to a restaurant (Frischs Big Boy) hung out and not much said. I gave her all the choices etc. This is where its difficult, I tend to think she is in control rather than me actually. I can't remember when I have told her what to do and made her do it. Odd.

Have been seeing someone for about a year. Had to do it to deal with my transitioning back home to family (my Mom and Dad) and dealing with end of life issue with my parents. Lots of angles in this one but its getting much better, this was the last issue I had to break through that I knew about.

We live in the same house. Not Aspergers, nothing like that. It is only me who she doesn't speak to. She is shy and very intelligent. Her shyness is there but with me its more than just shy. Raising kids was never something I have ever had to contemplate until now. My work has divided me from my family over the years. My son is 27 years old from a previous marriage, lives in another state but we talk and text. My daughter from my second wife is 12 and basically an only child at home. Millicent (Millie) is a quiet person, more than normal, she is 12. I wonder if there is a database available to weed out those who don't qualify? Like asking particular questions to go along with the resume. For instance, when I have left my resume out on Monster the headhunters cruise for certain qualifications using a search tool. There is a difference between a response to a politically correct individual's sensitivity (victimization) and being on the attack. You can have kindness and not be politically correct. Yes I did, way too much but was way too ugly for any girl to be within 100 feet of me and besides when I was drunk I was not trustworthy. I agree, no excuse for this. I remember hearing about these kinds of events taking place when I was overseas and the guys in the barracks......well never-mind....But the girls in the barracks were somewhere they shouldn't be and drinking too much. Doesn't excuse the behavior and crime. In these cases I have a hard time comparing them to the guy who jumps out of the bushes and rapes a woman as to the woman drunk and passed out where she shouldn't be. Both are rape but there is shared blame where in the case of the innocent woman walking down the road and gets jumped has no blame.

Sorry to inconvenience you with folks trying to feed their families or just trying to do something on a daily basis to make themselves feel as if they are working at something. When you get disgusted at these folks just try to put yourself in their shoes and leave your arrogance at home.

I agree these guys should be punished harshly. One thing I do not see in any of these posts is the girls part of this. Why did she get drunk at age 16 when its against the law? There are laws against underage drinking because things like this happen. Youths cannot handle alcohol and this is a perfect example of it.

You must be P-3s? I never went to the Fallon Dets, refused to go or kind of made a deal with the Chiefs. I had to go on most everything. Doesn't pay to know how to fix airplanes, best to play dumb or be a dirt bag if you don't want to get used on every deployment or detachment. I never got to choose my orders the Skippers and Chiefs always had my orders drawn up to go where they wanted me. Small community in the aircraft I was trained on. After I got out they even got me a job working for them as a DoD employee. No regrets, got me to where I am now.
