  1. Could be considered middle class? SERIOUSLY?! Every state isn't New York, which seems to be your basis for this argument. I could consider myself tall and blond, but that won't make it true.

Romney made a statement saying that middle class income is $200K to $250K and less. People are giving him grief for saying $200K is middle class. My point is that $200K could be considered middle class in some states so his statement is correct. The "$200K to $250K" part of his statement covers those states with higher costs of living like New York and California. The "and less" part of his statement covers other states.

  2. It may not be ridiculous in your world, it is in mine and probably most people reading this topic.

I assume since you're posting on Paulding.com that you live in Georgia. $200K in Georgia may not be considered middle class but $200K in New York could be considered middle class. The president is president for all states, not just the ones you are familiar with. Should Romney instead have spent 30 minutes listing what he considers middle class for each of the individual 57 states?

  3. But that is the small percentage of Americans who live in those very few states.

This is out-of-touch talk going on.

Wanna place The Romney Bet on what is considered middle class? $10,000 today? I'll put it in the hands of an attorney of your choosing and you do the same. Then we can get some non-biased arbitrator to give us an answer if $200k is "middle class." I'm sure we can call a professor at, say, University of West GA to give us an answer. Wanna bet? Just a small amount. The Romney. $10,000?

    Even $175,00 is middle class?

This will be the easiest $10,000 I've ever made.

Last time I checked the president is president for all states, not just the ones that help with your argument. Whether you believe it or not, $200K would be considered middle class for a family living in some states such as New York.

Regarding the Romney Bet, that's a silly proposition.

Check with Paulding Networking, I believe they are commerce members on here. They have done repairs on my computer but if memory serves me right I believe their portfolio also includes home theater/cable installations. If they can't help you, I am sure they can refer you to someone. They are located in the Citizens Square shopping center at 120 & East Paulding

    Thanks..I'll contact them.

Anyone else have any other recommendations?

  6. Anyone know anyone locally that wall mounts TV's? I've got a new 50" on order and I want to mount it on the wall with all the cables hidden behind the wall (including the power so I think it would require adding a new power outlet). I've searched on craigslist and Kudzu but would welcome some recommendations.

    Thanks!
