Actually I don't think they were convicted under any hate crime laws but under Georgia's street gang act.
Norton was sentenced on one count of violating Georgia's street gang act and one count of making terroristic threats. Torres was sentenced on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of terroristic threats and one count of violating the street gang act.

Yes, the media makes up stuff and does their best to promote the liberal agenda. However, Trump makes their job VERY easy with all the stupid stuff he says. It doesn't take much media manipulation to simply show video of him saying something stupid.

An all out trade war with China would bankrupt most of our meat production industry. The devaluation of their currency has not slowed their purchase of US chicken and pork, let alone grains and other foods. This is one of the largest industries in the USA. The big poultry companies have 100,000 employees/contract workers. Shut downs would cause a domino effect of bankruptcies unprecedented in our history.
Bear in mind these are perishable products that would not find another buyer right off the bat.
No problem...we can always eat squirrel.

If you really want to have a discussion of Trump's policy proposals,
you must start with his actual positions, instead of the twisted straw
man caricatures listed above.
I would welcome a discussion of the issues : Let's start with how China
devalues it's currency and their widespread use of corporate espionage.
And how both of these practices damage the US economy...
The problem with most of Trump's positions is he changes them frequently...sometimes even in the same interview. He has no real core beliefs other than "Trump, Trump, Trump". That's part of why I won't vote for him.
