And that's the wonderful thing about living in a democracy, let's all hope it's still intact after Trump's administration.

Specifically what policy has Trump implemented or proposed that would result in the US no longer being a democracy/republic?

You think replacing dead and retiring SC judges is an accomplishment ? Awarding tax breaks that overwhelmingly favor the people that did not need them at the expense of a deficit that your great great great grandchildren will be paying for is something to brag about ? As far as these dreaded regulations go I would be willing to bet you would have to go on a google search to name one. All you know (to paraphrase our resident know it all GD) is that the party told you they are the root of all evil and you believe it.

Yes, picking suitable SC justices is an accomplishment. Tax cuts went to those people that paid taxes....what a concept!

You asked and I answered. You don't have to believe my answers or agree with them.

Which do you like best the parade of Trump prostitutes getting their 15 min of fame, the steady march of his friends being led off to jail ? Giving Syria to the Russians, the fake "peace treaty" with North Korea or the love fest in Helsinki ? Wait I bet I know, it's either his love of neo nazi's or his disdain for people that allow themselves to be captured in war.

    I mentioned policies...there are a few:

    SCOTUS appointments

    Other federal judge appointments

    Tax cut

    Cutting regulations

North Korea --- this is still TBD and very slow but things are looking better than what we were getting with prior presidents

    Senator Ben Sasse

I like Ben Sasse. He's right but being a 'reality-show, soap-opera presidency' isn't illegal and many of the policies being implemented by this 'reality-show, soap-opera presidency' are pretty darn good.

Brennan made a living as a political analyst without the information his job is in jeopardy. Trump would shut down newspapers and jail journalist if he thought he could get away with it. This Nixonian move has outraged so many it may will end up backfiring in his face.

My understanding of how security clearances work for former employees is they have clearance to receive classified info but that doesn't mean they still have access to it. In other words, current employees could reach out to former employees with security clearances for information or opinions but former employees can't just go in one day and start reading all the current classified info. And I seriously doubt they were using Brennan in that way given his opposition to the Trump administration. Given that, how does that impact Brennan's ability to make a living? And even if it does impact his job, who cares? The purpose of allowing former employees to retain security clearances is for the govt's benefit, not the individual's.

  6. He hasn't been tried or convicted but the accusations are credible. Especially considering the guy was actually banned from a mall. But by all means Republicans should give him the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't dare extend to someone on the opposite side of the aisle.

I agree that some of the accusations are credible but as you mentioned, he hasn't been convicted in a court of law. Good thing I'm not a republican...I think he should have dropped out before the election. It takes someone special to push Alabama to vote for a democrat senator and he did it (sadly).

I don't think he should fire Mueller but I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
