  1. No, you are missing the point. The black pastor could care less about the great achievements Washington made. He's only looking at the fact that Washington supported slavery by owning slaves and it's for those reasons he feels Washington should be removed from the park. My point is this pastor's desire to remove Washington from the park could pick up steam that will result in others believing the same thing. Where do we draw the line?
  2. You missed my point. A movement has already begun to remove Washington from a park in Chicago because he was a slave owner and supported slavery. Where will the removal of monuments end?
  3. Here's a list of them: George Washington Thomas Jefferson James Madison James Monroe Andrew Jackson Martin Van Buren William Harrison John Tyler James Polk Zachary Taylor Andrew Johnson Ulysses S. Grant (actually they were his wife's)
  4. Twelve presidents owned slaves. Should their statues be removed from public view? Should they remove their names from buildings and streets? A pastor in Chicago seems to think so. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2017/08/16/jackson-washington-park-protest-presidents-slave-owners/
  5. For those who did not know; Delaware and Maryland were slave states during the Civil War. Maryland ended slavery in 1864, but it passed by only 1,000 votes. Delaware on the other hand did not abolish slavery. Slavery in that state was in effect until the 13th amendment was ratified. I wonder how many statutes exist of government officials from those two states who supported slavery to the bitter end?
  6. Using Byrd in your post is a perfect example of how you believe only people on the right are racists and that's ridiculous. If he was right wing, then why was he a member of the Democratic Party for his entire political career? I have met a lot of racists in my life who belonged to the Democratic Party and not all of them were white.
  7. So you hung out with white supremacists to study them in your younger days. Gotcha. Did you have fun with them?
  8. Why would you even want to hang out with people like that?
  9. You're going to condemn him for using a teleprompter? Did you ever condemn any other president for using a teleprompter?
  10. Maybe he thinks all men with short hair are either cops or military. How would he tell if a woman is either?
  11. I find it interesting that you hung out enough with them to get to know them that well. Birds of a feather and all that.
  12. It appears pubby has stereotyped police officers and military personnel.
  13. Hey TP, here's a link about something you have said in the past about how well behaved white supremacists are. You said you knew that as fact because you have been around them. http://paulding.com/forum/topic/318967-rumor-of-blm-march-in-paulding/page-2?do=findComment&comment=4014033
  14. Kind of like Obama calling the mass shooting at Ft. Hood "workplace violence." Then again in California where the guy and his wife shot all those people at a company gathering where that too was called, "workplace violence." Your hypocrisy is showing again.
  15. According to the gym's website, the gym is radically aligned and left-friendly: "We require no one to agree with any set of politics, but if you are hostile to the fringe, you ought to look elsewhere," the site reads. "We wanted to create a gym that wouldn't be prohibitive due to cost, or overly aggressive, exclusionary jock culture. We want elite athletes and total newbs, anyone looking to pick up a bar. Meatheads welcome, too, so long as tolerance abounds." Read more: http://www.cbs46.com/story/36104473/owner-bans-cops-from-joining-gym#ixzz4ph58TA7G Hmmm, left-friendly. Is this to
  16. There are also times where the nut doesn't fall far from the tree.
  17. I just asked you a question. Here's another; didn't you say your father was a racist?
  18. "We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides," the president said. "It has been going on for a long time in our country -- not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. “It has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America." Donald Trump Sounds to me as if he has publicly condemned their actions.
  19. Didn't you once say your daddy was a member of the Klan?
  20. I'm not depending on any of the solar eclipse glasses when it comes to my eyes. I'm going to videotape it and then watch it that way. If turning 55 sucked for ya, wait until 60. The only birthday to date in my life I did not look forward to.
  21. The fire truck is equipped for a foam that smothers a fuel fire. Water as you know on a fuel fire only spreads the fire.
  22. There was no slant? Your article only gave one side of the events and that was from the woman. There was no reference to what an investigation concluded at all. For all you know the woman is not telling the complete truth of what really happened. As far as a display of ignorance is concerned, let's examine what you said. "What does man slaughter by a cop, 6 years ago, have to do with Trump, G D?" Manslaughter is one word, not two. The way you wrote it and your consistent use of improper grammar and sentence structure could conclude you meant, "What does a man slaughtered by a cop 6 y
