My neighbors has access to my network as well....I don't have it password protected which I could if I wanted to...but I choose not to. I can't help that my network reaches their home....LOL....and they pick up on it for free....But they're always bringing my dog their left overs...She cooks all the time and brings me some of the best dressing in the world....Plus I open my Comcast bill this month, and they went up another five dollars...good grief.......I wished my network covered the whole subdivision. LOL

I am sure its not a "Obama phone" My step father had his stroke about 12 years ago right there at retiring age. Yeah, life's not fair.. but it happens.......and he has had this phone way before Obama took office.....

All you people barking at me about government free cell phone, is barking up the wrong tree...I didn't give it to him.....Spend that time and energy on writing your congressman and just maybe it might get some where....you think!

Anyways....Out of just been nosy, I called my mom a few minutes ago and ask her how he got the phone....not that it was any of my business and she didn't have to tell me but she said....He got a call a couple of years a go or more, she can't remember and they told him that he qualified for a free cell phone with free roll over minutes...and he said okay.. and that's how he got the phone....She said it stayed in the box for over 6 months until my sister open the box and charged it up for him and taught him how to use it...and told him to keep it in his truck....so that's how he got the phone...

Yeah, your right....it's not FREE...FREE...I pay taxes too....so I PAY for it...along with my other brother and two sisters....just FREE to him.....DANG...he didn't request for the phone...he don't even use it...They sent it to him....he just has thousands of un-used minutes.....Maybe I should go get and use it.....LOL..

He don't argue with FREE......either.....and it would be a sin for him and my mom to get internet ....LOL....He like to had another stroke when he was forced to get cable on the TV.... Edit to say...if you draw a check from the government FREE looks good no matte what it is....He rather be working and making what he use to...I guess our bodies get old

Yes I agree that the government should tighten the belt on cell phones and some other things...but I am like everyone else...I can fuss until I am blue in the face but what would it matter....I can only pull my own little wagon and that's about it...but my step father draws a disability check and I am sure that's how he got his...and I am just happy he got one....he is old school and he would never buy a cell phone....that's just him..LOL

I saw the commercial that she is referring too....and yes anyone drawing any Government Assisted can get a FREE GOVERNMENT PAID CELL PHONE with so many minutes...not sure how many...and yes roll over minutes....That means, even if you draw food stamps...you get a free cell phone.....

Him being in the Army did not qualify him to get a phone but having Government Assisted does...kinda like falls under tax payers money I believe that's what he was referring too. I am sure he has Life Alert as well.... I don't know anyone else that has a Government Assisted phone other than him...

My step father served in the Army for 12 years and he has worked and paid taxes for over 58 years.....he sorta looks at it as a one of his benefits....LOL..

My step father has one, he is 72 which he never leaves home but to go to the doctor or the store. He was telling me his minutes roll over and he has only used the phone one time ..He leaves it in his truck and I think it's a great idea that he has one to use in case of emergency. I would check in to it. It's free just for the asking.

This has been one heck of a boring, dreary, lifeless, dull, gloomy, depressing, cheerless, weary weather dragged day for me ..................I guess that about sum's it all up.... I just baked me a chocolate pudding in the mix cake.....and poured me a big glass of cold milk.......Now off to bundle up and enjoy a movie...LOL

I know it's very scary....I will put you on my prayers list cause I been through it and I know...fear is an awful feeling ..I know you won't even be having your mind on your problems and then BAM.. one slight heart beat off then it throws you an attack mode....like I spent all day in my mind just waiting on one.......it's a crazy feeling but you can over come this......I had to stop drinking Folders coffee and cokes...for some reason caffeine would cause my heart to flutter then BAM...here comes the fear mode again...keep mental notes on what your eating and be watchful....when you get older y
