My 4 yo nephew fell yesterday morning, and ended up needing 6 stitches below his eyebrow. They had to sedate him in order to do the stitches. While the meds were still in his system, he was very loopy. He was cracking us up all day long with these out of the blue things he was saying. My 7th grader handed me a paper from his school tonight, along with a brochure about the Duke University Talent Identification Program. This is for academic talent. He has been asked to take the ACT or SAT as a 7th grader. It will be the exact same test that they take in High School. In fact, he will be among the High Schoolers when taking the test. He was chosen because he scored in the 95th percentile or higher on a grade level test, and was recommended by his teacher. Looks like a very neat program. I know that she is still out there, but I have been running either early or a few minutes late this entire week so I have not encountered her. A few of you in this thread know me personally, and what I have had to deal with the past couple of years with my teens. It's not been easy or fun at all. I've cried at the things my kids have done, and questioned myself as a parent on every level. I saw your hubby sitting there waiting for her this morning. Tell him she always behaves along that stretch. It's mainly the intersections she pulls her stunts. I was about 5 minutes early this morning, so I missed her.

All I know is, our wonderful PCSO watched this video, and took the complaints seriously. They observed her for themselves, and made contact with her. We all know, legally, they can't really tell us anything else. We just need to thank them for taking this seriously, and I have complete faith that they handled / will handle this situation correctly.
