Morning my friends! I am doing what I always do....working! Already been at work for 1 1/2 hrs. But that's OK. Even though I had Monday off this week, this paycheck will be loaded with over-time. I cannot complain about that. My family returns from their vacation tonight, so my quiet week comes to an end at home. And my bosses return from their 10 day vacation tonight also. Back to normal all the way around next week.

Mark, I went to Walmart in Rockmart tonight. As I walked through and looked around, all I could think about was you, and how much I wish you had been there with me. I would not have looked so funny if I was laughing with someone else, instead of laughing alone. I think we need to meet there one day, sit in the Subway drinking an Icee, and just laugh. This is usually how it is with my kids, especially my daughter. I give it a couple of days, and then it's on. She does not care how disgusting her room gets. Until she is forced to clean it, it won't get clean. I start by asking her nicely the first day. The second day, I get a little louder and meaner. The 3rd day, I take action. I take her cell phone, computer, and any means for outside communication away from her. You would be AMAZED at how quickly her room gets cleaned. She doesn't get any of it back until it meets my approval, which is not the easiest, but I CANNOT STAND CLU

I have had the entire house ALMOST all to myself ALL week. I only have 2 nights left. My house will be full again on Saturday evening. I have really enjoyed this week. I have only cooked one meal. I do that weekly... usually on Wednesday or somewhere in the middle of the week. i pull everything out and warm it up and tell them to get whatever they want. I love doing that. Leftovers don't get eaten if I don't do it. Tonight, I made a Steamers cheddar broccoli and rice for myself. No one else is here to eat, so it was a good night for it.

This is true, of DA's, and every other profession. I would actually HATE to be the one defending her. Even if he knows 100% that she is guilty, he has to do his absolute best to figure out a strategy that may set a killer free. That would suck! And then if it does, like it did in this case, then he may have to live with death threats for a long time to come. Certainly some houndings from the press/media. No thanks!

But by law, he has the responsibility to defend her the best way possible. If he doesn't, he is held accountable. It does suck, and he may have hated doing it himself, but he had to do whatever it took. Don't forget, Defense Atty's don't always defend the guilty. They also defend the innocent who have been falsely accused. It's not fair to generalize them.

I know that is normally the case, and that is why I surprised and was questioning why "double jeopardy" was being discussed. Maybe it was for the other 4 counts? I know the defense was asking that they be considered only as one charge and not 4. I guess they were trying to say that by charging her with 4 counts for the separate lies, they considered that double jeopardy.

I missed the first part also, but it sounds like they are going to try to make it where they can still charge her with her death at a later time. When I started listening, they were talking about making sure the "double jeapordy" thing would not happen. I was confused on the little bit I heard. Can someone explain to me what they were trying to do on that?

But she gets time served, and she has been there almost 1000 days, and take out for good behavior, she will be out in no time.
