My only agenda is open and honest government and stamping out the good ole boy network. That's what all citizens want, except the ones in the network. We have enough corruption in state and federal government without having it on our doorstep.

I am appalled and disgusted with Austin's unadulterated arrogance, trying to deflect any criticism with the email and phone call diversions. Rather than take the needed critcism like a man, he goes on the attack and tries to throw the blame on Pownall. There is no way in hell this should have been going on a year without someone (probabaly Austin since he is chairman and also on the airport authority) to not have discussed this personally with Pownall. Saying that the people of Paulding are not going to be able to feed and clothe their families if commericial aviation does not come to Paulding airport is height of foolishness. Of course we need growth, be we need growth that doesn't negatively impact people's lives in such a big way. If Atlanta's second general aviation airport is of such importance why isn't every county in North Georgia fighting for it, instead of against it? I bet you wouldn't be so furious if Paulding turned away a landfill, airport, or incinerator that was planned in your neighborhood.

If so many people hate the commutes, why is Paulding one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Could it be they want some of that "little quiet utopia"? You sound like one of the chamber Hacks who is just out for the bucks. If all that revenue is generated for the county, the commission will just spend it like they have in the past. The citizens of Paulding County have been on record for the last 20-30 years opposing an airport in Paulding and specifically opposing becoming the home of Atlanta's second general aviation airport. Why is the airport authority and the elected officials on the authority so dead set against the wishes of the Paulding citizens. This type of growth is not what the people want,so why do they not honor those wishes. If you notice none of the board lives within ten miles of the airport. I guess they fill like they can do what they wish to make a big name for themselves and/or to make themselves

I hate to disagree with you, but an honorable man would not sign a contract negatively affectting the lives of so many county residents during the dark of night, without getting input from the public. It is the epitome of arrogance for him to assume he knows what is best for the citizens of Paulding. You see the trouble Obamacare is in because it was shoved down the throats of the people by another arrogant man. Then Austin states he doesn't need the peoples approval only needs FAA approval. If you buy from a dealer, you will come out ahead. But guess who is paying this bill, people that buy cars from individuals. Before there wasn't a tax on this transaction but now the government gets their fee. Don't think your elected reps passed this to cut anyone a break. The Sanford PD and the Sanford Prosecuter did not bring charges and were fired. Florida Gov Rick Scott appointed Bernie and his cohorts from Tallahasee as special prosecutors. Bernie and friends tried to make a case out of nothing becausthey did not have the backbone and/or morals to stand up to Governor Scott and say there was no case. Anybody that watched the trial and is not bias knows there was no case from the beginning.

If you think prosecution acted with dignity in post trial interview, you did not see the same interview I did. Bernie had his EGO crushed and his anger showed. He was still trying to convince the reporters and the public that Zimmerman was guilty. I do not think he has acceptted the verdict. He will not admit he and his team were wrong in their view of the entire incident. But we know the name of the game for the prosecuters was not justice. It was to make a name for the themselves. I do not have a problem with discussion and opposing views, I always am open to hear other peoples opinion, except when the person do the discussing has a financial interest in the forum they are hyping.

This is my last log on to Paulding.com. I will not visit any site that puts out the tripe that PUBBY does. I would suggest that all sensible users do the same thing and send PUBBY and his left wing thoughts to the showers. When you log on you are supporting his leftist attitudes and making him money.
