So sad. Prayers for all those involved. Whenever anything like this happens, it brings back memories of my childhood. My Uncle used to work for Disney and he was in charge of situations like this. Dr Wiener is great. We have actually been to her, but since my wife's condition is not considered psuedo tumor we were refered to anouther doctor. We have gone through Diamox and a bunch of others. The medication she takes now at least as made the dizzy spells less frequent, but she still gets terrible migrane type headaches. If I could, I would take all the pain if she could just get better. Have they suggested a shunt for you? Beleive me when I say we know what you are going through and hope you find a medication or procedure that will help you.

My wife was thought to have this. 1st Doctors said yes... Then no....then maybe. We have been through all types of medications and procedures, 3 or 4 lumbar punctures, MRI, you name it she has had it done. Still she gets terrible headaches and is frequently dizzy. We have been to 6 or 7 doctors and now are at Emory with the top specialist in the state. My wife keeps a list of the medications she has taken and the list is now 2 full pages long. We had a friend that did have the pseudo tumor (false tumor) and they ended up giving her a shunt to drain the fluid. She has been doing great

I have a Garmin Nuvi and I just plug it in the lighter like everyone else. You can buy a wall charger if you want, but I have never found the need for it. Also for those who GPS units... DO NOT save your "home" address. If you want to save your residence as a favorite title it as something else. My cousin in Florida had her car stolen while they were out to dinner. The thief used her GPS to get to her house and then used the garage door opener to gain access into her house. Like her, I also keep my garage door opener in my car. Can you still use these with the water ban? They look like a blast!! We rented a combo wet/dry slide last year, but the POPO made us turn the water off!!

I got stopped on my way to work this morning on Bankhead Hwy. The police were stopping everyone and asking if they had observed any road rage in the area yesterday morning. I bet it was connected to this. Sure tied up traffic this morning on my way in, but I hope they catch the guy!!
