  1. Wonder how the election on July 20 would have turned out if this happened earlier and it was Gregory and Pownall. That would have been fun. We can thank the local garden club (GOP Party) for that. For putting another ethics issue candidate or ethics problem associated candidate in there. Becoming a bad habit. Have they picked a winning candiate yet in the last 6 years...............Let's see: Ralph Reed...nope, JK rogers.....nope, Beverly Cochran.....nope, Ronney sibley.....nope, Glenn Richardson.....nope, Jerry shearin.........nope, and so on and so on. Is it just me or has most of th
  2. WAS JUST LOOKING AT RUNOFF RESULTS THIS MORNING. LOOKING AT POST 2 IT LOOKS LIKE BEVERLY GOT ABOUT THE SAME AMOUNT. LOOKS LIKE ADAM'S PEOPLE CAME OUT FOR TODD. NOT SAYING ADAM ENDORSED ANYONE BUT JUST LOOKS LIKE THEY PUT HIM OVER THE TOP. JUST AN EVALUATION FROM A NON POLITICAL PERSON BASED ON NUMBERS. TODD MIGHT WANT TO BUY ADAM A STEAK!!!! THAT IS A JOKE!!!
  3. This is why I voted for Gregory. Damn I hate he lost. I remember him saying that he was on the fence about SPLOST because there was still time to raise the mill rate which had no gurantee of being lowered the following year once it was raised and that once it passed on the promise of needing county income or deputies would be lost then it was his fear that the same excuse would be used for mill increase. Guy was the only one that saw this coming. Just wasn't in with the good old guys and gals of the county enought though. Good call Adam!!
  4. Amen. Class Act guy. Thanks for all you do for our county, communities and children. Your time will come I pray for our counties sake. I hate that local races are not more like State races where you vote for what you hear and believe instead of who you know. I am sorry for our county that you were not in the deep rooted in crowd. I pray whoever wins stands for things like you seem too. Thanks for giving us hope! Our pleasure.
  5. I voted for Gregory. He seems to be the only candidate that is staying out of all the crap and just running on what he believes and thinks. I know he is not part of the long 20-30 year establishment in Paulding but damn that is what we need. Seems to handle himself very well with those long timers at the round table forum and at times seemed to be leading with ideas that we have not even heard discussed before. Just my humble opinion which I understand does not mean much, LOL. www.gregory2010.com since everyone elses websites are being listed. HAHA.
  6. SO I HAVE HEARD. IS IT TRUE??? IF IT IS BOY, SHE BETTER STEP DOWN!
  7. 12 years, he has only lived here for 9. LOL. I am glad you know for all of us. LOL. Enjoyed the conversation. I would enjoy any type of meeting. Just let me know where and when. Don't forget me if you meet. Take care.
  8. I am here. I do not have a candidate and do not live in the Post. I was just giving my opinion from an outside point of view and as someone who knows you personally I thought I would rag you a little!! HA-HA! Seems to have gotten you worked up, LOL. That is a joke! I have seen where you have stated that $150 to Mr. Gregory. Boy if he wins an election on $150 compared to the $500-$1000 that the Developers and Real Estate Agencies and the current administration gave to Mr. Pownall, then I need him to budget my check book. LOL. It is $150 man, let it go. Since when did we say that who
  9. I am just curious. If a consumption tax is so great and relieves us of tax burden personally then why are so many people not supporting the Fair Tax. Personally I love the Fair Tax and by reading all this it seems that most of you are consumption tax lovers. Just wonder if that's the case? Either you support it or you don't but if a consumption tax like SPLOST works so great, then why not use it for everything? Looks like the governement is eating its own words and want to play both sides of the fence. Just a thought.
  10. NICE! COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT ANY BETTER.
  11. Just some news. I found out who Surepip and Whitey are. Surepip is Thad Morrison III Whitey is Mr. So now let them stand behind thier real name!!! Just an FYI to all those who like to know who they are speaking to.
  12. Personally I liked Mr. Gregory's speach last night and have grown to love to hear him speak. I love to hear this guy speak because you can feel that he believes in what he is saying whether you agree with him or not. It is apparent that he is not worried about upsetting people by speaking the truth in what he believes. If you agree with him or not, you got to be sick of all the political correctness and back patting. Thats what I'm looking for. Someone that is NEW and vigurous and upfront about how they feel and view things and not in a popularity contest. One thing is for sure. He is no
  13. No doubt whose circle this guy is in. HA-HA! Glad you know three business owners. Congrats!
  14. Good post for your argument. We will just have to agree to disagree. People say taxes, roads, etc. help attract business. Last time I checked, all our major roads are state roads and no county funds go to them and we can not even get businesses to come there except retail. Looks like we need someone that can sale the county to me, not a tax. It is called planning. Step 1: Find the Businesses that are willing to move or come Step 2: Sale the County and what it can offer and do after agreement is reached Step 3: Enter into agreement with Company Step 4: Notify taxpayers and voters o
