Its that time again, And we are very excited about the Fall Craft Fair. We need to decide between 2 dates The dates to choose from are Sat. Oct.17th or Sat. Oct. 24th. Let me know your feedback. We need to decide on a date by the end of the week. After we have the date we will fill up fast i know. 10x10 space is $25.00 . Hurry spots wont last. For info call Emmie at Vito's Cafe 770-529-8568. Come by to fill out the form and get your spot.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about the David Austin campaign sign at the end of Rosedale. When are they supposed to come down?

He's not the only one. Their are old campaign signs up in a number of places from a few different candidates. It irritates the you-know-what out of me, too. I don't care if they didn't know their volunteers put them out there. Their name, their responsibility. And there's no way they or somebody in their circles doesn't know about them still being up.

My youngest son tested positive for the swine flu. He is better now and will be returning to school on Tues.

Our pediatrician said that there is a lot of flu going around ... they have it through their offices all day, every day. But they have all been "regular" flu.
Also ... much of the concern over H1N1 is regarding what it could potentially be, not what it is right now.

Coming from 278, it is about a mile or so before Rose's, on the left.

Folks will be out there getting things going around 9:30-10 in the morning. Stop by and check out the church's yard sale while you're there.

I knew I should have stopped I went right by there this morning....
dang it....
We're expecting to have folks out there until 6 or 7 tonight and then all day tomorrow until the same time or we sell out. Last time around we were sold out by around 1:30, I do believe. I'll keep this updated if it looks like we'll be out that soon again. The men bought more meat this time, though.
I believe there are also whole butts available for $25/each.

Yep, and ours too! Oh did they have to dispatch to another station to come out because the one closest to you was UNMANED!
Why is there not a push in this county to bulk up the volunteers to support the FD?

I wish I was surpised but I am not. I know many stations are undermaned and even once they get there they have to wait for another station just to have enough men to start to do something.
It still boggles my mind that this county considers a station in service even if there is only one person manning the station.
