Here are some pictures of the sleet accumulations this morning.

I am looking to buy cloths for twin girls. I can't keep buying everything new...gets way too expensive with 2 (have 4 kids total though), and consignment shops have nothing for twins! One day, I will open a consignement shop for twins I need anything from 3-6 months up.
Also, mine have finlly begun to outgrow some of thier 0-3 month old cloths, so if you are having (or know anyone) twin girls...i've got some goods. Once they outgrow their baby items...I have all that stuff too (swings, activity centers, exersaucers-these don't match----walk behind toys, etc. If we get "hooked up" it will be a continual thing as mine outgrow, yours will "move-into" the items. Most of my cloths either match exactly (same color and all) or are the same piece but in different colors. If anyone is interested please reply or PM me.
Thanks

There is a large consignment sale coming up in March. they are looking for sellers right now, so you may want to contact them about selling some of the stuff the girls ahve outgrown. Bonus to sellers, early shopping. The sale is in March. PM if you wouls like more details.h

Apparently they've determined that there is nothing else to do there for the time being. Dirt has been replaced and no longer a deputy standing guard.

If this is all related to the dig in the pasture ... Paulding County spokesperson (sorry, didn't catch the name) informed the media that, as of yet, nothing has been found.
-
Channel 46 news reporting .... Paulding prisoner admitted to helping another man (murder suspect currently being held in Carroll County) dig 4 graves on the property. Channel 46 also reporting that a cadaver dog appeared to them to "get very excited in one of the hole being dug" and that there was then "a flurry of activity". Nothing confirmed by authorities.

THANKS FOR THE PICTURES AND UPDATE
Rest assured ... had there been anything of a "sensitive" nature, I would not have posted the pictures.

Unionmom, how can you tell a dog has potential to sniff out cadavers?
There are some basicis that indicate whether or not a dog will be good for search and/or rescue work. But the truth is, you don't really know until you get into the training.
-
This whole thing is just awful...but I have heard a new term today...."Cadaver sniffing dog". What an utterly revolting job., and what a shame society has to have them....
...and the training must be "rigorous".
OMG SORRY...I can't believe I just made that awful joke...
Cadaver dogs have been around for a long time. I have a dog that I am considering training for that very purpose.

3 media's there at 2pm., coroner also
I believe the coroner has been in the area all day. When I went by the first time (on the way to get little one from school) he was just leaving the scene. By the time I came back through, he was back. (Lunch run, I'm guessing. )
I wonder if the media was gone to lunch when I went through. Couldn't figure out why they had left with active digging still taking place. Saw Cobb County SO K9 unit in the area, too. I'm guessing that was the cadaver dog.

Just came through the area ... all media has left, at least for the time being. Digging is going on though the focus right now appears to be outside where the yellow tape was earlier. Of course that doesn't mean much of anything. Initial placement of tape could easily have been wrong or a cadaver dog may have hit in another area. Guess we'll know when they tell us.

Diggin has begun. Apparently there may be a link to an old missing persons case. Just have to wait and see, I guess.
-
WSB reported on it, as well. Didn't get the whole story because of the weekly test of the emergency broadcast blah, blah, blah. Apparently there may be some connection to an old missing persons case though. I will also post if/when I have any further.

The location is between 120 and the 4-way stop. If you are traveling from 120, it is the small farm on the left ... white rail fence. House, etc. set back off the road. The area marked off in the pasture is quite close to the road.
-
Great ... thanks.
-
Do you remember what tv station was there? Then we will know what channel to watch for more details.
Either freelance or a channel that doesn't paint their trucks. No markings on it but clearly a media vehicle .... telescoping boom and satellite on top, etc.

Thank you for your quick responses, though I sure wish it were better news.

Does anybody know what is going on at a house on Mulberry Rock Rd.? There have been deputies there all week. Up until a short while ago, there has been a single deputy parked at the end of the driveway. This morning there were three and a news truck parked across the street and there was a small area blocked off with yellow tape in the field.
(Sorry if this has already been covered ... I haven't read everything yet. )

Abducted girl found safe
By Liz Fabian
Telegraph Staff Writer
A little more than 24 hours after a 14-year-old was abducted from her adoptive parents' Macon home, she was found safe in Kissimmee, Fla., Macon police spokeswoman Melanie Hofmann said.
From the national Amber Alert issued after Kendralyn Radford was forcibly kidnapped Friday, a concerned citizen recognized the white 1997 Chevrolet Lumina in a parking lot of a Wal-Mart store and called police, Hofmann said.
Kissimmee police arrested Michael Dewitt Hightower, 39, the estranged husband of the girl's biological mother, and recovered Kendralyn without incident.
"She's fine. She appears to be in good health," said Kissimmee police Sgt. Joe Muscara. "There doesn't seem to be anything wrong."
