I still recognize their right to refuse us based on free exercise. The rights of the religious must be weighed against a compelling government interest using the litmus test described in the RFRA. Damn that pesky first amendment...
  3. It is quite common for transsexual people to happily legally change their birth certificate to align with their new identity. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transsexual#Legal_and_social_aspects No different than an adopted person having their records changed...

  5. It should be noted that transgender people who have transitioned to the opposite sex and have changed their birth certificate aren’t affected by this law.
  6. I imagine that they will just ask for identification.
  7. These laws have been on the books for a very long time... It really is that simple... the right to an affirmative defense.

  14. I think you have more in common with the anti commercialization folks than you realize. Insults and personal attacks on people's character are not going to help your cause.
  15. San Fransisco, a city where people literally defecate on the sidewalk, is lecturing North Carolina on their restroom policies... hilarious irony.
  16. Nobody is talking about Brussels or Lahore...
  17. I read a book awhile back called "A Nation Of Moochers" which indicts both the left and right. There was a chapter on tax breaks for the film industry that made the economic argument that state taxpayers are actually subsidizing the multi million dollar salaries of big Hollywood players. It makes a compelling case... I am voting for Liberty.
  18. Yes, Georgia was just simply reaffirming a right that already exists under federal law. Which is why it seem curious that there is outrage and threats of boycott over one and not the other...
  19. So what makes one hateful and the other okay ? ? ?
  20. Other than being friends with Austin, can you tell us why you support commercialization ? ? ?
