How very interesting. Even though I know very little of this site's functional ability, because I am not interested, I think I just had a light bulb moment. I also have had problems with minuses on certain comments. When I click to indicate a negative comment, it always says that I have used up by negative comment quota, even though I have never been able to give even one. No. I think the people that "passed the gas" on this one are the people who dreamed up this bad airport idea originally because they wanted to "park their birds a little closer to the house", and got this airport built over the objections of the taxpayers, and continue to work against the taxpayers so they can continue their Sky King Fantasy at taxpayer expense. Where have you been for the last month or so?? In the last month we've plenty enough ice and snow to require mega use of deicing solution BUT you, in all your "wisdom", think this is non-issue. Some of the folks out by the airport learned early on about the truth behind "One on One Meetings" with county officials. Here is how it works: One citizen asks a question of a county official and the other one's response begins with obfuscations and something very similar to a shell game, telling the "real" concerned citizen ANYTHING that will get the questioner to walk away. Of course, when the "real" concern citizen seeks to confirm what was said by the county official, it all to often turns out that they were lied to. At least that has been my personal experience. I agree with you that leaving our GOVERNMENT in the hands of career politicians is a really stupid idea. They are, for the most part, people who are easily bought and paid for by greedy business people who wish most of all to increase their profits to the max degree and they don't care whose house they have to bulldoze to increase their profit margin. Government, in its ideal, should protect the average citizen from greedy business people while at the same being fiscally responsible. I see NO fiscal responsibility in Paulding County.
