  1. You can vote on different browsers, too :)

    (explain?)

If you have IE and mozilla firefox; you can vote in ie once and in firefox once. If you have more computers, you can also do more that way too. :)

I try to vote from home and work... but sometimes I forget to vote at all.

    Chelle:

thank you for thinking of this. There are a few days when I've not even made it on to vote.

Well, I think you deserve to win... and I wanted people to know that they could keep voting. :)

  2. It takes 5 seconds. You don't need to register. I started a new thread because I'm thinking that some of you voted when this started, but it wasn't clear at that time that you can vote every 24 hours. I think Pubby's video is better than the others, yet he's fallen way behind. With Pcom members behind him, there's no reason he shouldn't be able to win. C'mon, people!!!

    VOTE HERE - Keep voting!

    Original thread is here.

    The competition is here.

  3. I fill up every two days so it really doesn't matter. Even if gas goes to 5 a gallon your talking about an extra 20 bucks for a fill up - not that big a deal.

Considering it was just around $3.50 g...going to $5 g... that's $1.50 g increase. For me to fill my 30 gallon tank, that's an extra $45. For those of us living paycheck to paycheck, it's a big deal.

  4. Yep, the choice between babies and animals seems to have everyone in a quandry. I love my doggies, but if I had to choose between them and my child I bet you could guess where my heart and money would go. ;)

Vote for who you want, that is why it is called your vote. It only becomes mine if you give it to me. :D

    Well... here's my dilemma.

March of Dimes: As much as I love animals, I do value human life over animal life. You can bet your azz, if it came down to my child or my dog, my child would win every time. If this were a contest to save a baby or to save a dog, my vote would undoubtedly go to jlh.

Paulding Animal Shelter: Has much more limited opportunities to raise money and this is also limited to a MUCH smaller area... Paulding County. The March of Dimes is a nationwide fundraiser with so much more exposure. Also, with such a huge organization such as MoD, I don't think $200 goes very far... it's just a teeny tiny drop in a huge vat. I know that $200 at the Paulding Shelter goes a long way and can actually save a life.

For me, this isn't about choosing animals over babies or vice versa... it goes a bit deeper than that. As I said before, I think you both should win. :)

    I still haven't voted.

  5. Interesting.........this is the first time I've ever heard anything negative on this place. Their name has been mentioned TONS and TONS of times on pcom for recommendations.

Yep... and when I had reservations about using Dr. L (my gut told me to stay away) I searched pcom and Google and found nothing negative... so I decided I was being paranoid. I sure do wish I would have gone with my gut. :( After my experience, I found several other people that wished they would have used another vet, for the same reason.

This is the reason I felt the need to post.

  6. I found a little puppy that was trying to get in a fence with two of my dogs. I'm thinking she's about 8 weeks old, but I'm not good with puppy age, so I could be a few weeks off. I doubt anyone is missing her, she's afraid of people and it took me and my son an hour and a half to catch her... and when we did, she yelped like she was being killed or something. Still... I figured I'd put this up here, just in case. Anyone know where her home is?
