I'm so sorry.
She was the Para Pro in my youngest son's kindergarten classroom at Poole... and he absolutely adored her. I was fortunate enough to see her smiling face when I'd pick my boys up from ASP. She was a very special lady and I know she will be missed deeply by many.

Are these pullover style or do they zip? Can you do a small name on the front (shirt pocket area)?

My sympathy does not lie with her either, it was meant for people to think about what can happen with even one lapse in judgement. It's not worth anyone's life.
I know, I was just adding my thoughts to yours.

Thank you for pointing out the witnesses to me.
I want people to see firsthand what drunk driving causes. Call a cab, make arrangement with friends, or stay where you are. This women will have to live with what she did for the rest of her life. It was not worth it.
What's worse, is that the innocent people on the bike will have to live with this for the rest of their lives... and they didn't do anything wrong. I have no sympathy for the drunk who hit them and left the scene. I hope this haunts her for the rest of her life and that she passes this hard lesson on to the ones she loves.

Love it!
Off the top of my head... I'm sure you could come up with something for Sugar Magnolia, Sugaree, Blues for Allah and/or Stella Blue.

I am not sure were you are located...
LR, I think this is the one that's in the Dollar General shopping center, west of the old courthouse. There's also an emissions place there and there used to be an ambulance service in the same shopping center.

Why is her 3 year old daughter Lily not listed in the obit? Anybody know?
It looks like her daughter, Lily Reece, has been listed as a son.
I'm sure they'll fix this ASAP.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. My youngest has been in classes with the twins for 5 years. He told me about this when he got home from school today... he is so sad for his friends.

Nope, I checked that site already. Thanks though.
I think we have mutant snakes over here.
Keep in mind that mature snakes and young ones of the same type can look quite a bit different.
Chances are... it's not poisonous... but please don't try to pet it.

Check here to see if there's one that resembles any of your new friends: http://www.uga.edu/srelherp/snakes/index.htm

SLOW THE HECK DOWN BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE!
THE BUS WAS STOPPED! YOU DIDN'T EVEN ATTEMPT TO SLOW DOWN! It was obvious that I was on one side of the road and the bus was on the other... so I had to cross the road (your supposed to stop whether or not someone is crossing anyways, dumba**)! At least someone was paying attention (me)... otherwise someone would be scraping me off the road right now.

This driver was going so fast that I couldn't get the plate # or anything identifiable to report. It appeared to be a woman and the plate may have started with A15... and it was a sporty looking black car... that's all I've got. Anyhow, if you think you know this person, who was driving towards 101 on Holly Springs Rd around 2:35... please tell them about the rules of the road and common sense.

Trees must be down in town somewhere as well because Herschel Jones doesn't have power at the moment.
Got a call from my boss a little while ago, telling me to stay home for now... no power at the office in downtown Dallas.
Hubby has no power at his shop on Industrial Blvd N and says traffic from 381 is being re-routed through there... tree down on 381 or something.

Are you doing it for her, or for you? Ask yourself why, and consider your answer carefully.
Not to be critical. But kids have enough pressure once they are all grown up. Focusing on outer appearance doesn't help with their self-esteem, IMO. Beauty isn't something anyone can take a picture of.
You asked, so I'm answering. If it's fun for her, then enjoy it with her. But go into it understanding that there are parents who wrap up their whole worth in others recognizing the "rare beauty" in their "outstanding" child. I wouldn't want my four year-old to think that her outer aspects had any bearing on who she is, how beautiful she is, and what she's worth.
Pageants rank kids. Kids shouldn't be ranked, especially at 4 years. They are all beautiful at that age, and anything that indicates to them anything other should be avoided like the plague.
Hope I didn't step on your toes. I don't like what pageants represent. Beauty doesn't last forever, but confidence, intelligence, and self-worth never go away. Especially if they aren't connected to outer appearance.
Good luck.
Great post!

I know that someone hit a tree on Holly Springs this morning. When I turned on the scanner, they were also reporting a wreck on Goldmine.

... when you can't remember how old you actually are.
Note: I just did this today... had to do the math from my birth year, then realized that I'm a year older than I'd hoped.

I've got a roast in the crockpot. We'll also have mashed potatoes & gravy, green bean casserole, fettucini alfredo and garlic bread.

Be sure to watch caffeine & sugar intake after 4pm or so.
