You are not kidding. I keep wondering if it's a full moon. There were 2 "incidents" in my neighborhood here in South Paulding this afternoon. What in the world is going on?

My 10 mo old grandson was just discharged from Scottish Rite today. He has been there for 13 days - ICU for about 9 of them. He had bacterial pneumonia. He was also sent by ambulance straight from the pediatricians office. His started with an ear infection & just got worse and worse. We had also taken him to the SR ER on the 6th & they diagnosed him with "a touch" of pneumonia but by the time they sent him back it had overtaken his left lung. They had to put in a chest tube to drain the fluid off his lung & ended up in respiratory distress during the procedure. Poor baby wa

Yeah, everyone in South Paulding HS district and some of HHS is considered Douglasville. Hopefully that's what they mean. It's bad enough here without it being any worse!

I agree. Unfortunately everytime someone walks outside & gets "swept away" that not only puts them in harms way but the people that have to rescue them too. I pray for everyone's safety tonight. I really wish they would hurry up & rescue those kids so I can go to bed.

also - as far as school goes, my daughter had to withdraw from public school for her soph year because we didn't want her to fail because of absences at delivery, etc. Trinity has a program called The Trinity Center - www.homescooldepot.org There are several options with them. You can purely homeschool, you can actually attend classes there. They were a blessing to us. First off - there is a place called Pregnancy Resource. There is a location in Paulding county (not sure exactly where) and one in Douglas on Chapel Hill Rd. they go there and take classes before and after the baby is born. they earn "mommy money" which allows them to buy baby furniture, clothes, diapers, etc. I highly recommend them. They even have a car seat class & they give them a free carseat (brand new). Daycare - there is a medicaid program that pays for daycare up to $139 weekly as long as the child is still enrolled in school. They won't pay if they quit. You apply

Douglasville said they were having a parade at 10, then a festival at hunter park from 11-4. that was as of thursday. I hope it hasn't changed. I'M BORED & NEED SOMETHING TO DO !!!
