Those poor dumb people that used glass for over a 100 years, it's a shame they had the right to think for themselves and not have someone tell them what to do. Thank god we now have people that need the government to do their thinking for them. I am sure it was very helpful to you when they started putting the "wash your hands" labels on meats.

Hi Pierce, My my my, renewal time again. How many years does this make, 34? 35? And in couple more years we move to a brand new stadium, wow. Let me see if I understand how things are as of today. I owe the Falcons basically $5,600 to renew my tickets this year. Then, if I am lucky and there are no price increases...hahahahahaha, that's a good one huh Pierce, I can pay $11,200 for the next two years and then.......as reward for almost 40 years of being a loyal customer and fan, the Falcons are going to reward me by......making me pay to be a customer? Do you see anything wrong with this

A common football phrase, used to describe a hard tackle, is "stick 'em". If Sam says he is going to "stick" the quarterback........... Oh dear, I can think of quite a few other football sayings that may have to be changed. -

I only discuss my sex life with those who ask......no one ever asks. Ok, one person did, but they fell asleep before I was through. Just in case you were going to ask, I never put it in writing. (it is sad enough hearing it, much less seeing it in print) -
In case you missed it, what with the storm of the century and all, Micheal Sam, college's best defensive player come out of the...closet?...locker room?...well, he came out and said he was gay this week. Here is an interesting take on it by a Dallas, TX reporter. He makes some interesting points, whether you agree with his final statement or not. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Olc5C4SXAYM

Both mommy and baby were cute as could be and I have no doubt nothing has changed.

Crap, I missed this one. What a funny funny man. His TV show, Your Show of Shows was a classic. It starred Sid, Carl Reiner (who doubled as a writer), Howard Morris (Ernest T. Bass on The Andy Griffith Show), Bill Hayes and Judy Johnson. The writing staff was superb, with Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Neil Simon, Danny Simon and Mel Tolkin. While this one is about a birthday present, given what Friday is, it is somewhat apropos.

It is something, as you know, we don't get a lot of here, so it extra special when we do.

Ok, serious. I love watching the snow fall when it is the type that it sounds like y'all are getting. It is......peaceful. Enjoy it for me, I am hiding out in S. GA.

If that is what they like, then that is what you should do. Besides, we know you do the other stuff also. -
I told someone the other day that I know I am past the old man point. In my younger days when this type of weather was coming, I only worried that I had enough beer and liquor to get through the storm. Nowadays, I worry if I have enough TP and medications.

Either one or the other. (or someone with kerosene in a glass container)

My mother grew up with kerosene lamps for light. They didn't have electric lights until she was in her middle teens. (maybe older, it is hard to read her records, the're chiseled in stone ) Anyway, she has two of her old kerosene lamps so Tuesday she went to the local hardware store to get some kerosene for the lamps. As she had always done in the "olden" days, she took a quart mason jar to carry the kerosene in. Low and behold, they advised her it was against the law to put kerosene in a glass container. My mother was shocked. She told them she had always bought her kerosene in a q

I worked in the grocery business back in the 70's and 80's. You woulda thought we were doctors the way they insisted we come in when no one else could get out. My son works at the Depot on 61, he was off today, but I told him to make sure and call me before he went in tomorrow. Back in the day, I ran the night shift. One snowy day in the early 80's, they called us night shift people in to work due to the conditions keeping a lot of cashiers home. (in those days, cashiers were all women) We worked in North Springs on Roswell Rd. I didn't want to go in, but 2 of my crew did, they said t
