I saw them put someone in the back of the ambulance. I thought. What concerned me was the ambulance set there for an hour. Maybe they just waited around during the entire time the wreck was still in road? Whixh is odd if noone was hurt. Shouldn't they of left? I've heard of wrecks happening and if there is a fatality, the coroner will be called to the scene and then the ambulance wi wait. Any one hear anythjng else?

Does anyone know if anybody was hurt? I sat in traffic over an hour. It looked bad! I just wanted to know if anybody has heard anything? Or what happened? Thanks

People are just so incredibly stupid. Or maybe just uneducated. If you are a programmer, or even work with computers, and I heard this guy has a degree from a four year college, then you absolutely are NOT stupid enough to research anything related to something you are planning on doing like that. How could anyone be that stupid? I think these guys are innocent of murder! I think he may of just had his head elsewhere. Like on pictures of young women, which tells me he is guilty of negligence but come on, murder!?

So we were at ingles and saw crime unit and someone covered up on ground, police etc. Then went I. And came out and they were putting him in rescue unit covered up. There was a purple car parked sideways next to it and some people. Down near te entrance to the convenient store entrance and ingles parking lot. There was a small black car similar to a mustang and a truck I believe also parked next to the body. Anyone know what happened?

I agree on the jim and nicks thing. mostly young people working there. They will drive through anything without understanding the consequences but you would think the owners would know better!

I think it is Stupid and intended as a punt towards the community to make the kids go to school an extra 15 minutes a day to make up these days. Why not just tag on an extra couple days? Better yet, add these days into the school year. That would be the smartest thing to do.

I got dressed this morning, minus my makeup. There are some dropouts walking down the road still in their pajamas. I hope they don't think they look cute because they don't. Get dressed! Noone wants to see teenage boys in their pjs! and pick up the newspaper in your driveway since your momma let you go out in your pjs today since shes too fat to get it!

Too much drama, you think the world is coming to an end. They tell you to stay off the roads but they have people driving around. They just hype this crap up too much. As I said, its not too much drama! I was stuck 12 hours in the snow/slick roads and had to catch a ride home with a stranger. People were stranded and this IS a weekday. wow, I actually think it is awesome that they spent the night there so that if there is some kind of emergency YOU CAN get to the store to get what you have to have. Think of an allergy to a bee sting, and no benedryl. Or a virus, and no Gatorade. Or a period, and NO pads in the house. Please give these managers credit. I'm sure they were not forced to but they did it for us, not for them!

dammed if they do dammed if they don't. I don't think it was way too much coverage. The meteorologist are not God. They don't know exactly what it will do as the weather changes so quick. 2 weeks ago there wasn't enough coverage and now there is too much. They can't seem to do anything right! I think it is better to have too much than none! It could of easily been worse.

I know someone who has no family and can not climb stairs. (so cant come to my house) If Power goes out will need to call an ambulance to help them. They can't take good care of themself. Is there any Shelters in the area if they need help, or warmth in case the power goes out?

Omg I just heard the superintendent from Decalb county on tv say he didn't know the difference between a winter storm watch and a warning! These are the kind of people who at in charge of schools in a weather issue!

Most of the ones who to the opportunity to jump on you have no idea what it's like to be stranded or away from their children. This board is famous for doing that.

That's awesome! Maybe the police should look into buying 4 wheelers for their department so they can help lite old ladies and men who slide off the road and are sitting in their car freezing to death because noones coming to help other than good samaritin. Thank God for those! Don't blame the weather men. The weather service issued a winter storm warning for paulding county about 6 am. So, that's no excuse. Some would say though, it doesn't matter what it didn't do , it matters what it does.

It's a bad system. I knew they didn't care! They've taken chances on our kids lives before. These public school system needs new rules. I received a winter storm warning at 6 am from weather channel for paulding so I know the fools knew!

I don't know whose job it is to send someone to these jammed up areas to direct traffic but they need to get busy because there are peoe that r thirsty, sick and babies and children. Stranded motorist running out of gas etc. I've not saw one police yet!???

Well you know, that's not my job. I have my own children to get home to that are home alone because the school system failed to properly heed the warnings of a winter storm. Also, from what I heard the police r not doing anything about those kids that r stuck. If the parents can't get to them they will be housed at school. How are parents and buses to get anywhere with this mess! I just can't understand it! If I was a police officer on duty I would get out and direct traffic but I'm not. Thank you.

Where in the nutts are the Hiram police today? I have been in traffic 6 hrs ? I have been In traffic from my dr 5 hours! Wth is fling Why is no one directing this traffic!

We live in a neighborhood where the neighbors let their cats run freely around. I have mine indoors and they have only been out to go to the vet. I hope they bring them inside tonight. It s only a matter of time before one of them gets ran over because they are always outside.
