I am sorry for Brenda's passing but feel comfort she is not suffering anymore. They say the hearing is the last to go and am certain she could hear you. She knew she had many good friends and you reconfirmed that by being there with her. I have also known that very thing when someone I helped with was clinging to life by very little. To be married that long is amazing. I heard of so many that pass on not too many hours or days apart. But 3 hours is the closest. Anyway I know its hard to let go but they are at peace and not struggling anymore. Will say a pray for them and you.
