Sorry for the late post, but I had to get some housework done after that 3 hour lunch. It was awesome to see all there were able to make it. Great turn out, lots of laughter and just good old fellowship. KRM- was that smoker's crack directed at me? Hopefully it will not be 5 months before I can join another lunch outing. So, I have been out of work for two weeks now and I must have missed the lunch threads. Are you guys not doing the weekly lunch thing anymore? If not, lets get this started again. Looking for suggestions

My dogs really enjoy me being a stay at home mom. They get lots more attention. Hubby and son kind of like having dinner ready and waiting when they get home instead of waiting til I get home from work. Although the extra income really comes in handy, but now I'm not spending money on gas, take out lunches(everyday), or spending my family time on the road in traffic. Really would love to work from home, but there are way too many fraud jobs out there to weed through them all. I don't want to pay to work, so those type jobs are out for me. Anybody with work from home jobs(on

I just lost my third job due to layoffs since August of last year. Guess it's time to look for a new line of work. I am greatful that DH has stable work.

Thank you all for the well wishes, and thank you be glad it was not one of my dogs(I don't think I could make though another one). As far as the lunches, of course I'll do my best to be there. Thank you for the tips and keep'em coming.

Rumor or not, I suppose from a distance one could mistake the article as real and jump to conclusions. If this is the case, I see it as a parent just trying to protect his/her child along with everyone else involved. I myself am thankful for all precautions that have been taken.

So, I got laid off again yesterday. If any of you know of any office work needed, let me know. I am really trying to stay in the Dallas area this time. Part time or full time is okay. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just got text from son. He said that a jrotc kid was walking around with his wooden gun and a parent called it in.

Bike was repaired with no problem, son is still going to Dr with neck pain and headaches. He took a pretty good hit when his Jeep got totaled. Ins. Co said there was 18,000.00 worth of damage to the Jeep. I m just very thankful that my son was not injuried beyond what we are dealing with right now. He just turned 17 yesterday. I can't believe my baby is growing up. Thanks everyone for your kind words and yes I really miss you guys.

I've been working. Thank goodness. I've also been dealing with my son's wrecks. You may have seen the pics that Bones posted about his Jeep getting total in July, well then he put my truck in a ditch. Son and truck are fine, it just aggrevating. What's been going on? Where is everyone?

I've never seen a blue snake before. He unfortunately got to meet my mower.

the green tree snake has a blue phase: They are harmless, but unfortunately we did not know that at the time. Just thought I would share.

A dirty filter will cause it to freeze up also.
