  1. pure shea butter. I use it for everything. My skin used to be uneven and dull looking. I have been using it for about 6 months and the results are amazing. I wished I had did a before and after. I get compliments on my skin all the time.

  2. The fact that a nurse and a security guard came down and told him that the mother in law was dying should have been enough. Its not like they were lying to get out of getting a ticket. Im sure everyones reaction if they were trying to get to a dying relative and say goodbye would have been to run a light if no other cars were coming and he did check before he proceeded through the red light. Its sad that they not only have to deal with a death but to be that close and not make it there to say good bye because of someone who doesnt have any compassion.

  3. "sometimes we think if we would have known, would we have done anything different?

I would not have done anything different"

I think it's wonderful that you can look back and know you wouldn't have done anything different. Most people have regrets about what they should or shouldn't have done.

You are right regret is the hardest to get through. I regret that I left my daddy for one day after being with him for three weeks straight, he seemed to be holding his own and I thought I could come home and take care of some things and get back. But he died the next morning. I still regret leaving him, thinking nothing could have been that important that I had to leave him. But everyone keeps telling me thats the way he wanted it, he didnt want me to see him go and he waited until he knew I was gone. It doesnt make me feel better. The guilt is eating me alive.

  4. I pray for you today. I pray that you can smile at the memories you have for your daddy and cry for the good times you had and not reflect on the pain and death. I too lost my father 9 months ago to cancer and the anniversary of his death is fast approaching and I am not looking forward to it. It has not gotten any easier for me, only harder the reality is setting in that he is really gone. It sounds like we both had special daddy's and I thank God for the 40 years he gave me with him. I will think of you and Pray for you today. May God bless you.

  5. G.E.R.D. aka Acid Reflux I have this and I have been out of my meds for over a week now.

Those were my symptoms as well, upper abdomen pain and bloatedness. After test were ran, I was diagnosed with acid reflux and they also found a small ulcer in my esophagaes. I take prilosec daily. It was weird because I never had heart burn, not in my chest, mine was in my back, they said it was called referred pain.

  6. Thats because the schools are making it that way. There won't be much left to prom if the 8th grade formals keep going up.

The school Im not sure, whoever helps organize these 8th grade dances, they used to be dances when my son was in 8th grade four years ago and even then it was getting to be too much. Leaves nothing for them to look forward to for prom. These formals are just too much. My youngest will be in eighth next year and he will not be going especially if there is a baseball tournament going on, we have 4 players that will not be at our next game because of the eighth grade formal. Baseball over dances anyday.

  7. It was reported on MSNBC that Natasha Richardson succumbed to her injuries that she recieved during a skiing accident on Monday. Her family released a statement. My prayers are with her family during this most difficult time. May God bless them and keep them.

Sorry, didnt realize this had already been posted.

  8. I am looking for Limousine services for Prom April 18, preferably SUV stretch style that can hold up to 12 people. Im kind of leary of just picking one out of the phone book, would like to know of any that some of you may have used in the past. Thanks

  9. If you guys have any other ideas, please let me know - I can't wait to take my grandgirls!! Great suggestions, thank you so much!

We went a couple of years ago and we stayed a week, after two days my boys were ready to head out, they were so over Pigeon Forge. They said never again. It was not their cup of tea.

  10. I heard a player was recruited to play... I can't wait to see him! :)

I hope the Raiders have a great season!! and leave many :o

That is pathetic, moving into a school district just to play football, peoples priorities are screwed up around here. What about education? How about moving into a school district because of their education excellence not football? Good Grief, I have heard it all.

  11. I recently inherited a bunch of land in Mississippi. Problem, it is 16 section land, don't know much about it. All I know is that its leased, and that the state could take it at anytime if they wanted to build a school on it. Taxes are due on it soon and the 99 year lease is up next year. I just want to know if this is even worth my time or money. Why should I pay taxes on something that is not technically mine if the state can take it? Also, how can you sell it if its leased? Maybe I need to contact a lawyer. Just thought maybe someone on here was familiar with 16 section land.

  12. has anyone been to the Paula D. restaurant in Savannah? My sis and nice are coming over from Ca an d the nice insists on going and having lunch. If anyone could please tell me how to get a table, can one make reservations or do you have to stand in line and how long the wait will be.Hope someone can help me so I can start planning. Thanks

The wait is long, the food was okay. It's going to be a perfect weekend for a trip to Savannah. Now I wanna go.

  13. I am very claustophobic !!!! I know I need to have this done, I have been dealing with severe Migraines and need to rule out

anything else going on BUT the thought of the close quarters of the tunnel has me freaking out, I am so afraid I will have a panic attack

The open air MRI is out because I am uninsured. I am getting a discounted rate but have to have it done in the regular one

HOW BAD IS IT AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE ???

I have had several, the first time I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown because I had my eyes closed, for some reason I thought I couldnt open my eyes. But the second time my eyes were open and I didnt panic at all and its wasnt bad.

  14. It is actually ridiculous..... Just my sons cleats was 30 bux and yes I know that was cheap.. I know some of the prices of the bat that people pay..... And OMG do these parents take this mess serious... It's just kids people come on now..

Well I would advise you to stay far away from travel baseball. Last year was my sons first year in travel baseball and with cost of uniforms, team fees, tournament fees, gas (this was during the height of the high gas prices), food, hotels, etc. I know we spent close to 4,000. But I must say it was well worth it. He is almost 13 though, the older they get, rec ball just does not cut it.

  15. I didnt forget anything, but I lost my mind. should have did the run away bride thing. planning the wedding and all the fun stuff that goes into it is what gets ya, and then that day is over, and its on with your life and then you realize what in the heck did I just do. Marriage is hard work, too much work.

  16. What I don't get is why is all of the attention being focused on this one player. There were several other students who signed on Tuesday and nothing else being mentioned about them. Only focus is on the one who one way or another didnt end up at Arkansas. Congratulations to all the signees who signed on Wednesday where ever your designation is.

  17. I don't like Petrino either but this wasn't his fault, after talking with one of the school administrators today he made it apparent this was because of academics.

At some point parents and students are going to have to realize that studying is just as important as athletics. Your grades will have an affect on where you end up going to school. You can be the best athlete in the world but if you are failing classes its not going to do you a bit of good. Push studying just as hard as practicing. There will be quite a few signees that signed yesterday that want be entering the school they signed to because of grades.

  18. I think Hiram had two signees today, not sure who or where they signed to go.

Found out name of Hiram's only signee. Congratulations Jarrell on your athletic and academic accomplishments. Good Luck at Valdosta, take that same Hiram Pride with ya.
