When Coach Hood (Varsity Boys basketball coach)left Hiram High several years ago, it was first reported on Paulding.com before he had a chance to tell the players. Because once it gets on here it spreads like wild fire.

I read on AJC that the woman that died, was 42 years old, but they had been reporting it was an elderly woman. Since when is 42 considered elderly?

Son's basketball game for Saturday cancelled, but the Coach scheduled practice for Saturday evening. WTH? Shouldnt practice be included in school events?

My thoughts and prayers are with the Green family. My heart was broken after I received the tragic news today. I have known this family for years and I am still in disbelief. Please God just wrap your arms around this family because they sure need it!!!

If any of them said they workked for Atlanta Gas AND Light, they have nothing to do with the company. There is no AND in the name.
Im not sure if they said and or not. The one that said it, was too busy putting his cigarette out he couldnt get too much out. Im just praying they were on the up and up and if they werent we scared them away. I just hate being so suspicious of people.

I think I remember seeing something on here about people poseing as contractors and coming to peoples houses and robbing them. Just had an encounter with two men at my house in a gray Silverado truck with CM Water and Gas company sign on the truck. Before I came to the door I peeped out the window to observe what was going on and one guy was on the side of the house reading the meter I assume and the other was standing outside the truck, smoking a cigarette like he was on break, so it was taking them a while so I call for my son who happens to be home from college, so we go to the door and ask what's going on and they say they are with Atlanta Gas and Light reading meters. So they proceed to leave and go down the drive way, and another "service" truck pulls up and they proceed to have this long conversation, so apparently they knew each other, and my son yells down to them, what are yall doing? And I tell him to come in the house, but eventually they both take off. But I did call Atlanta Gas and Light, and they say that that is one of their contractors. The whole thing was just weird, im wondering if I should have called the police? I hate to call the police on someone who is really doing their job. Just don't know these days!!

I had became a fan of Cam Newton after seeing him play last Saturday, but that changed after I watched the game yesterday and before the game was even over, he went jumping into the stands and spreading his arms out like he was God, even before that just a lot of arrogance, wanting to get camera time. He needs to show some humility and humbleness. Because in this game, you can easily be knocked back down to reality.

The morning of the event do you worry about if the cameras batteries are fully charged or does the camera have any batteries? Do you worry when you take pictures that you might cut off your guests head? The last time you had an event did you get enough pictures that told the story of the event? Thanks to the demolition of some pristine neighborhoods like Bankhead Courts, Capital Homes, Perry Homes, Grady Homes and MLK Towers just to name a few. The federal government handed the inhabitants a section 8 voucher and sent them to the suburbs.

in front of Carrington Point subdivision, I was coming down Nebo about an hour ago and about 4 police cars and an ambulance passed me, they stopped in front of Carrington Pointe, I had to turn into Creekside to get back on Nebo. Anybody know what happened?
