However I went back yesterday-cause I wanted stew and sweet tea. Same girl in the drive thru. She was much more professional in the 2.5 minutes of our transaction. After 2 hours in the principals's office.... 1.) we are getting out of the box with some new additions and tweeks to the 504 that will also aid in the data collection for the IEP determination 2.) we are all aware of the data collection and how it will be handled 3.) we are all aware who is responsible for what 4.) I have managed to ruffle the right feathers at the central office and we have been noticed by someone who is ready for results (also painfully obvious that we will not be getting a Valentine's card from at least 1 person at the table)

Went to a local bbq drive through today (which likely narrows it down) and heard the lady at the window cussing up a storm. Called the manager and before I even said when or who he said he knew who I was talking about. Which tells me this is likely an on going problem with this person. Gotta tell ya, it totally turns me off. Really put off by the number of folks that cannot express themselves with out cussing or cursing. Come on y'all-your vocabulary is better than that!

I get both sides. I have a kid that at this point in time I don't see headed to college. Based on that I wish that he was offered what I consider more useful versions of subjects-like math. I need him to understand a checkbook, banking, investments, etc. I have never used coordinated algebra or geometry except to help my kids with homework. I need him to really understand his government, and not africa's.

They tell me that from my request to now that have been gathering 12 weeks of data. (very specifically stated that they were required to have 12 weeks of data and that they would claim him ineligible if they were shorted any of that 12 weeks of data.)
