Was by last weekend and left a note for you to call me about some ideas for Back in the Swing. Not sure if you've heard of them but Jazzercise has partnered with them to help post treatment patients get back into a 'normal' routine. Need some 'give away' items for a fundraiser that I'm doing for them on Mother's Day. I'll call you soon and maybe we can chat. Thanks for supporting the TaTa's.

2. Get prepared. Throw away all the junk, the processed, and the "bingeable" foods now and replace them with fresh, whole foods like lots of water and veggies. If you're not into working out, buy a new pair of walking shoes and find some clothes in your closet you feel comfortable to walk in. During a lifestyle change, if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail!

This is a great offer. Thanks for your comment. Maybe I'll see YOU in a class one day soon. Bring friends...the more the merrier.

1. Get real and be specific. Write down three or four realistic goals that you can stick to. For example, "I will try to lose one pound of body fat every week. I will walk for 30 minutes minimum five days a week." Avoid fantasy-land goals that will only frustrate you.

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well on your resolutions. I took a couple of weeks off to move into my new location. I invite you to stop by and check what we've done with the place. Now, on to the important stuff. You know how it goes. A little bite here. A small spoonful there. Just a taste, pinch, or lick. It seems so innocent. But, all that snacking can lead to an ever-expanding waistline and diet disaster! It seems that snacking is an American pastime. We nosh on potato chips while watching reality TV. We munch on crackers as we view our Facebook friends’ updates. We sn

Energy bars, power drinks, gel packs, and powder mixes. It’s a mass market for pre-workout snacks and beverages these days. But, do you really need all these? Not if you’re choosing the right foods. Eating the right foods is just as important as choosing the right exercises if you want to see results. The lack of proper nutrition can leave you feeling wiped out and depleted before you’ve even hit the peak of your exercise regimen. Five all-star foods are good choices to fuel your workouts. Check out these nutritional powerhouses and choose one or two that work for you. 1.Oatmeal –

She may be a real estate appraiser or agent. If there is anyone in a one-mile radius of that home who is considering listing their house, she may be using it as a comp home. Is your neighbor considering moving? Have they moved in within the last year?

Sure, you have good intentions. You want to eat healthy. But, it seems that nutritious fare is so much more costly than junk food. And in times of economic recession, saving a buck becomes a bigger priority than what you put into your stomach. But, what if you can have it both ways? A healthy eating regimen without much damage to your wallet? That’s right! Cutting back on food expenses doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice nutrition. I know many of you are coupons clippers (me too) and that works great. Here are some other tips for eating healthy while spending less: •Establish a ga

If you don't mind a little drive, Tim Stuart at 1st Source Tax is in Acworth/Kennesaw on 41 near the old Wal-Mart (as opposed to the new Wal-Mart on the corner of 41 & Lake Acworth Drive). He's been doing my personal and business taxes for years and I've always gotten a sizable refund. He know where to look and where the grey lines are. Very nice...

If you’re like most Americans, you probably have some type of exercise or fitness goal this year. Of course, you already know that making the resolution is the easy part. The hard part is actually sticking with it. Jazzercise Founder and CEO Judi Sheppard Missett has helped countless women (and men)embark on new workout plans every year. To help you kick-start your new workout and actually stick with your resolution, Missett suggests following these six steps: Step 1: Make an Appointment – Your fitness regimen is just as important as your dentist check-up, folding programs for your nie

OK all you health conscious commers. How was your weekend??? Did you fall off the wagon or are you still going strong??? By now you've probably cut out all the junk food you used to eat and you consume so much water that your eyeballs remain in a constant state of floatation. Probably so much so that you've gone ahead and moved the TV set into the bathroom. But really...you don't have to stop eating all of your favorite foods. Just don't get crazy with it . Todays tip is that you should eat a balanced variety of all food groups and you knew that. But how much and how often is wh

I'm trying to find out how the roads are without getting out on them. Are they still froze over??? With the temp not getting above 22 here in New Hope, I'm guessing it's pretty dangerous.
