My first thought was that you complained about us for some reason since we are such bad neighbors!! LOL

but did not leave a name. My 16 year old answered the phone. I called the Sheriff's office, but they have no idea why. We are up to date on all of our bills, so I can't imagine that it is a lawsuit. What other reason would they call? Are they fundraising right now, and does a Deputy Sheriff call when they are?

My friend is on her way home from work and can't find a way home. If she can get to Paulding County (via Marietta), can she get to Villa Rica? Is 61 open?

I went to school at YHC. They always made really good meals when the parents were there.... It was a big joke. Everyone ate in the cafeteria on parents weekends because the meals were really impressive--lol. That was many years ago though. There is a nice place in Helen that sits on the river. I can't remember the name of it, but it was good.

I just boil squash and onions in salted water. Drain and add add 2 eggs per 3-4 squash. Mix it together. Add SHARP cheddar cheese (as much or as little as you like) When it is all mixed together, add milk or cream until it is just barely below the surface of the mixture (does not cover the top) Then bake at 350 until all the milk has cooked out. It is yummy and easy!

I voted for an hour plus since I work in downtown Atlanta. However, I drive for about 10-15 minutes and then catch the bus at the Movies 278 parking lot and ride on the bus for an hour. I love the bus. It drops me off a block from work and picks me up a block from work. And by the way, the Georgia DOT has a program for those who ride the bus to and from work (thereby cutting down on polution). It is called "Guaranteed Ride Home". If there is ever an emergency where you need to be home ASAP, they send a Taxi to pick you up for free. It takes you all the way to your car. I have used it o

Last night at about 9:15 my car stalled on 120 right in front of Hardy Chevrolet. I was with my 16 year old daughter and her boyfriend. A Paulding County Sheriff wizzed right by us without a 2nd glance, even though we were in the turning lane with our flashers on. I was scared and didn't know what to do. A young man named Bradley Mitchell stopped and helped us out. He helped us push the car off the road and then he drove us all the way home. I was so very impressed with this young man! My daughter is 14yo at HHS. They knew nothing about this. When I gave her the last names, she knew immediately who the kids were. I guess this is not out of the ordinary for them.....
