  1. That paranoia just doesn't fly any longer. I am not buying the scare tactics the state and local republicans are trying to feed me. Bottom line is that Will Avery is the best candidate. Whether he wears an elephant or a donkey on his lapel has no bearing on his ability to represent the 19th District. Try for a minute to forget about all the hogwash the parties use and lets get personal about this. When it comes to influencing and impressing people, Will Avery is the only choice. Give him a half a chance and if you are not equally impressed, then lamblast him with all you have.
  2. It is on private property.
  3. Animal, I look forward to working for the same cause for the first time.
  4. I have been to all the greasy seafood places around here. The only place I have found that had really good seafood was C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar.
  5. C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar on Cobb Parkway has the best seafood around.
  6. Will Avery is one of the brightest young men I have seen in a long time. Everyone owes it to themselves to at least talk to Will. Whether you are able to pull yourself away from the Republican party and vote for democrat or not, you haven't done your due diligence until you have at least listened to what the guy has to say. If the best attack you can come up with is to try to associate the District 19 representative with Obama, save it. Most of us are way too smart to be buffaloed by such nonsense. For the good of all Paulding County the voters (which is apparently only 20% of the popu
  7. I like that Austin sign on Cleburne. Every time I see it I smile thinking about how we put an end to his predecessor.
  8. Who the heck do you think controlled it when Jerry was in office? You want some names? If you know anything about Paulding County you should know who called all the shots until almost 3 years ago.
  9. I just saw where Handel conceded. Just what kind of people vote for a known crook? What happens if he is indicted before the November election? Deal and his supporters are an embarrassment to the state. No way in hell that I would give this crooked little man my vote.
  10. I thought they were waiting on the precincts, one of which Paullette won.
  11. I didn't care about the DA. I was hoping for Pownall. But if Braddock can beat Stout, that will make my day.
  12. The ethics violations in question aren't even the tip of the iceberg for this corrupt man. He is a genuine low life.
  13. About to say worse than that because it looks like Stout and Deal are looking good. Mother in laws and Lt Governors will be walking around with a grin.
  14. You're only half right. I don't love the new guy, I just hated Shearin so bad that I would have backed anyone that would run against him. But then I have a tendancy to hate theives. And if this bunch of commissioners fail, I'll be at the front of the line to fire them. Personally, I think they are doing all they can with what they have to work with. Subdivision houses took the biggest hit. Houses on acreage held their value a little better.
  15. Geez Madea, your chasing a rabbit that doesn't exist. If you want to end the confusion, go back a read all the posts leading up to the snippet you took out of one of my sentences. If you're not interested, I understand totally because neither am I. Absolutely!
  16. What I believe is that if Pownall is elected, the group of Austin, Graham and Pownall is more likely to do the right thing than any BOC we have had in recent history. Language? You mean hell? You have to consider that Ausin will be up for re-election in two years. I'm betting it all evens out. And according to Pip, they don't have a choice in the matter.
  17. I don't think any of them are up for re-election. If they did it will be the first thing either of them ever voted no on.
