  1. I am very interested. I have not played in about 2 years and the last team I was on was a B4. C-1 would be perfect for me getting back. Let me know if you are33 still needing players. I have played as high as A-8 on mixed, but am really a low b right now since I have been out for a while. Thanks. Vicky Davis
  2. TRUE!!! We asked for "CHANGE"! Well we are getting it and as Toby puts it "How do you like me now?" Gee thanks Obama!! NOT!
  3. Cleaning Granite Countertops: To keep granite countertops clean, use a microfiber cloth to dust off countertop surfaces. Wipe down the granite countertops daily and as needed using water. Once a week wipe down with a damp cloth and a stone cleaner formulated with a neutral pH. Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. They can scratch, pit, and etch the surface of the stone. Regular Maintenance of Granite Countertops: Reseal the countertops when water splashed on the surface no longer beads up. If there are stains or damage, contact a stone-care professional for repair.
  4. That is so amazing! It actually ticks me off just hearing the story knowing the parents have put an innocent baby in harms way!!!
  5. We have a dress that needs to be altered soon. Does anyone know of a seamtress in the area?
  6. Does anyone know if anything nice is going on around town or north of here to make for a truely enjoyable motorcycle ride? The weather is going to be great!!! Thanks for your suggestions! - Vicky
  7. As a maid service you get asked quite frequently about other recommended home service company's. Carpet cleaning is probably on of my most frequent requests. I can finally now say that I have found one I am comfortable referring! Atlanta's 1st Choice Services, INC., owned and operated by Wayne Miller, did an excellent job with my carpets. They were even able to remove a large red wine stain along with several other stains that walked in after treading through red mud. They were also very prompt and competitively priced. There # is 678-401-4418. They are also a Paulding.com member!
  8. Many things are changing drastically in this world and the earth itself will not stay the same. This has biblically been fortold. Every day is the perfect day for introspection and eternity.
  9. My daughter said EPHS is letting the kids out at 11:30. It isn't that bad now is it?
  10. A lot of people are deeply depressed due to the economy. We seem to forget that Paulding county is full of jobless people in the upper brackets as well. When you are accustomed to providing for your family and cannot or if you become critically ill or if someone you love has betrayed you, so on, so on... you can loose logic. Even someone of deep faith can fall into deep despair. We are all human! That is why God wants us to lean on him through "thick and thin". Only that kind of power can give hope for a better tomorrow. God bless us all and God be with us all especially this family.
  11. Carpet Wax Removal When it comes to stains on carpet, wax has to be the most annoying. Not only do you have the wax itself to contend with, but your carpet is also at risk from a stain by the dye that gave the candle its color. Step 1 – Scrape the Carpet If you take a small blunt object like a teaspoon and scrape the carpet, wax should flake off the stain gently. However, be careful not to scrape too hard, because you could damage the fibers. Simply drag the spoon over the surface of the carpeting, and, if the wax remains, move on to the next stage. Step 2 – Wax Dissolving Che

  16. Research says now that CANCER FEEDS ON SUGAR!!!! Oncologists are also now encouraging people to eat ORGANIC food. We are filling our bodies with pesticides, hormones, and everything else unnatural.
  17. Sounds like a contageous bug. You should always drinks lots of water. I believe in 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar daily. Also, if you smoke, that is the worse thing to do! Take lots of vit C tablets with zinc. I am big into nutrition and rarely get sick (knock on wood. Get well soon! - Vicky Davis
  18. Tile grout poses its own difficulties. The porous nature of grout means cleaning solutions pass through without a thought of taking the stain with them. When that dreaded spill happens, clean immediately. The longer a spill sets the better chance of it staining. Mix a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide to water in a spray bottle. Spray the stain and allow to set 30 minutes. Retreat if needed. Do not use peroxide on colored grout. It's bleach and will take the color out of the grout. Club soda will also help remove the stain if poured on immediately. Shaving cream does a good job. Spray on
  19. STAIN REMOVAL: A 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water will remove most stains. Blot on the spot and let it set 30 minutes. Then scrub lightly with baking soda if needed. Shaving cream also does a great job on difficult stains.
  20. I am looking forward to coming for the first time upon the request of Mr. Ed Chapman. Thank you! Vicky davis
  21. MARBLE - Do not use anything other than Ivory liquid dish soap on marble. Harsher cleansers will damage the surface. Always dry marble to prevent water spots from leaving their signature mark. Marble stains easily so wipe spills immediately. Do not use vinegar or orange based cleaners to clean marble. The acid in them will damage the surface. Peroxide is safe for stain removal.
