  1. 1/2 cup crushed ice

1 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice

    1 ounce undiluted frozen limeade

    2 ounces Tequila

    1 1/2 ounces Triple Sec

1 ounce prickly pear cactus juice*

1 tablespoon sugar or corn syrup

    Lime wedges for garnish

But were did you get the prickly pear cactus juice?

I will have to try that recipe; whoa. I will say - after about 5 sips - it just don't taste so strong any more!

  2. Hi everyone. The goats belong to me and my family. Sorry for any inconvenience or irritation they have caused by getting out. The are very tenacious in seeking out new growth to eat and get out frequently. We are in the process of replacing some fencing and thought we had them contained - they are little escape artists. They are NOT available for your dining pleasure, however;). They are pygmy goats and they are all males; we had to put the momma goat down this spring. They are very sweet but are timid so if you see them and go toward them they will run away. For those of you who like them - we like them too. They are very social animals and even talk to you. We couldn't dream of eating them.

    Regards,

    Carol

My grandgirls get so disappointed when we go by and they aren't out. About two weeks ago, my daughter was with us and we took her by to see them and they weren't out. I absolutely enjoy them so much. I keep saying I want some but not sure I have enough space and wouldn't want them to be unhappy. Sad to hear about mama goat; I did notice she was gone. Thank you for letting us share your babies!!

  3. If you are traveling on Nebo going toward 92 , be careful, there are 4 goats on the side of the road, and you do not see them until you are on them, it is between mcClung & Bill Carruth, use caution.

Oh no! I love those little goats! My grandkids and I always look for them when we go by! Please, I hope someone called the police to get those babies back home!

  4. Left Over Quiche Loraine with garden broccolli in it, along with a Pasta Salad we made last night with artichokes, pepperocini, vidalia, italian sausage, chaved parmesian, oil cured olives, kalamati olives, and bowties.

I gotta tell ya; sometimes I read your menus and think - I bet they eat canned spegettios every night and just copy a menu from a magazine ! Just kidding, LOL.

  5. This used to be my favorite show on TV. My favorite quote is "Hanna pooped in her unnawears".

But don't ask me to sit thru a Kate pity party while she goes to Charm City Cakes and they make her a b-day cake. Show me the kids. I don't want to see B Lady pour the pity on herself! This show lost my vote when I realized they are going to play the pity party. How many men in America want to be Kate's mate??? Raise your hands, people! Yes, I want to be on TV as Kate rips me a new one!!!

Oooh! This woman needs a reality check. Table of Twelve is my newest favorite!

  6. Well, I'm thinking greens! They have always loved my garden! Really! lettuce; I would think veggies of any sort. and maybe some water on the leaves - they like to eat when the dew is on the leaves.

Awww! Good luck - the last time my cat brought me a bunny - uh, well - let's just say I didn't have to think about the food.

  7. Been there many a time! I used to squirt the wash stuff in there; then massage it a bit. I also used giant sterile bandages on my finger or something slim to go in there just a bit and pull out some of that stuff.

Next time you get to the vet - ask for some ear wash stuff to keep on hand; that is what we did. I am also guessing that you could google for a nice ear wash to make at home OR call the vet and ask for a home remedy.

I might even call the emergency vet; they understand not everyone has a ton of money to spend.

I don't think I would use alcohol because sometimes they get small sores from scratching and that would send them straight thru the roof.

    Good luck! Poor furbaby!

  8. Of course I wasn't there but I have been to events where there is "cheering"; and then there is "CHEERING"; some of it can be disruptive. Sometimes if it goes overboard; you have to think - if every family did that, the ceremony would be twice a long. And usually, if you ask the kid - they are embarrassed when family gets too obnoxious. As in all things, there has to be common sense. Take the lil' rascal home and write a momentous touching speech about how proud you are.

    Just my two cents.

  9. I'll have to find it.... I've got an awesome recipe for fried chicken. The best fried chicken I ever had was in Harlem, it was this tiny little place they didn't even have seating in it. You'd go in and order, then have to wait outside for your order, inside where you'd place your order was maybe 4x6 feet. And they were open 24/7, we'd go there all times of the day. Damn... now I'm really craving it.

Do you remember the name. My dd lives in harlem.

  10. Well, daughter and grandkids were over from Friday until today so we did our cooking yesterday and Saturday. Tonight is leftovers.

We had ribs, garlic smashed potatoes, asparagus topped with a sauce of onion and ranch dressing with crumbled bacon on top. Some strawberry shortcake; homemade chicken salad made with a hint of tarragon. Oh yeah; and somewhere in there we had baked beans and yellow rice and bruschetta one night as an appetizer.

    I'm stuffed!!

  11. They had a private event until 7:30 p.m. and we arrived at 7:00; not realizing they would not be open. So me, my daughter and two granddaughters decided to just walk around a bit to wait.

They came out and got us and seated us in the bar area so we wouldn't have to wait outside. Then, we had a wonderful server and delicious food. And of course, the lil' nippers had to go join in the kareoke. Little did I know I was carting around a family of rock stars (they have their own kareoke machine at home). They sang until I decided I better take them home before DFACS showed up and arrested me for having them out so late.

It was a fun, fun time. MacFarlane's - great service and great fun.
