I think big babies run in my family. My sister and I were just under 11 pounds. Our brother was almost 12lbs. He was HUGE!!! My 1st son was 9lbs. 12oz. delivered by c-section (thank God) 2 days past my due date. My other two boys were smaller but came early. My middle son was a week early and only weighed in at 8lbs. I thought he was so little. My 3rd son I went into labor with 3 weeks early and he was 7lbs. 10oz. I was scared to death of him being so small even though he was really a good size baby. Yes, this all happened so fast and was very shocking. Even as close as we were it was hard to tell who he was yelling at because both boys were in the water at first. When he pulled his own kid out we thought he was yelling at him then he continued yelling and pulling my kid out and spanked him. These were very good friends of ours and not only are we furious over the situation but were are hurt as well. I came on here for opinions and got them and a lot more. I hesitated to do so because I thought it might turn out this way but I honestly wanted to see what others would do in my situatio

He started yelling to get out of the water first then pulled his own kid out. Then he continued yelling and cussing at my kid, pulled him out of the water and spanked him. He was very angry and spanked him in anger. My husband was and still is pissed. He reacted much calmer than I did, and packed the rest of our stuff and left shortly after the kids and I did. Leaving was what we thought was in the best interest for everyone.

No, if you had read in my last post.....yes, he has been allowed to do this with his brothers but they had been asked not to because there were other children around. I have not once defended my son's actions. What he did was wrong, but that does not give anyone the right to touch my child!!!!!!

I can assure you my son does not think his behavior was OK. He was still punished by us, even with all that went on.

Again, he was NOT left alone with this person. My husband was there and given the chance could of handled the situation as we saw fit. He still had no right to ever lay a hand on my child. I understand his concern for his own child and I am not sugarcoating the actions of my son. What he did was wrong and deserved to be punished, but only by my husband or me.
