Kay-Rogers NOT doubling coupons after Sept 22.......
Mrs G replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It will curb my shopping at Kroger, that's for sure!! I usually buy the soap, deoderant and toothpaste with the double coupons (and end up getting the itmes FREE, I did have to pay the taxes, though) and then the Cream of Chicken/Mushroom soups and Chicken Broth, before and during the Thanksgiving Day Sales. During the last two weeks I've gotten about 30-FREE 2 or 3 bar, packs of soap. About 15-FREE Crest Toothpaste, 5-FREE Brute Mens Deoderant and 5-FREE Sure Womens Deoderant. I can see why they are doing this but then again, it will stop a lot of people from shopping there. Kroger would only -

Yes, the Cust Serv Lady that I talked to didn't know anything about it. She, then called over for a manager to come to the Cust Serv area and she asked her. She said yes, they had a had been told, just a little bit ago. The Cust Serv lady asked the Manager was it for all stores and she said, YES. They could have waited until "after" Thanksgiving............... -

We don't buy anything online, on a regular basis. But, I did order my oldest Granddaughters shoes online on 8/31, purely co-incidental. I was NOT thinkning about the tax thing, starting on 09/01. -

Ummm, I just went to Kroger on Ridge Rd and asked one of the front end Managers and she said , Yes Mam, after Sept 22, NO MORE DOUBLE COUPONS!!! A lady at work was telling me that the Crossroads Kroger hasn't doubled coupons, in a long time. -
Kroger will NOT be doubling coupons after Sept 22, I heard this thru the grapevine so please don't ask where I heard it from. I was in a hurry to post this, therefore, I did not take the time to put this in the Coupon Clippers forum, Mods please move it if you see that this is worthy of moving it.

My daughter said the people (where they were visiting) said they think the Mother Deer was hit by a car and they have been feeding it ever since. It's sooo cute!!

What's the difference between these two kinds of shoes?
Mrs G replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The Tom's shoes that I saw online were out of my price range. If you can afford Tom's, go for it! I'm NOT spending that kind of money on a pair of shows for a 12 & 4 yo, not even for myself!!!! Academy had a pair that was cheaper but, I just bought Bob's for both. I love my Sketchers Remix ALL Leather, all white, no laces and very comfy tennis shoes!! -
We are in need of Volunteers at Helping Hands of Paulding Co. We need Case Managers, Pantry Workers and someone to make pick ups with a truck and trailer. Please contact Andrea Watson at Helping Hands of Paulding Co at 770-443-1230. The hours of operation are 10-2:00, we have a short devotion daily at 10 and we take the last client at 1:30, UNLESS we are overwhelmed with clients and we have to close the door. We try to be out of there by 2 but, sometimes it is later than that. Or, If you'd like more info you can pm me. Sometimes it is hard to get through to the office on the phone. We

Prayers for the Family and Susan will be missed. I only saw and/or worked with her a few times at Helping Hands but, she was a joy to be around. She lit up the room with her Beautiful Smile. She was always so kind to everyone she met. No more pain and suffering, God Rest Her Soul!!

Thanks, I just may go today, even in the rain. -
For the life of me, I can't figure out WHY people let their children play in the streets/roadways or why the child himself/herself, would get out into the street, knowing well (the older children do/should know better) that the roads/roadway IS FOR CARS!!! If you teach your child(ren) TO NEVER GO INTO THE STREET/ROADWAY, then they probably would be reluctant to do so. Always teach them to look both ways, IF they do need to go into the street/roadway, he or she probably would never think twice about it. It just breaks my heart to hear of another senseless death. Parents have got to take more i

Any idea where I could get a pair for a 4 yo, she is in a sz 10? I ordered the oldest grandchilds on the internet, it had free shipping but, to order both pairs would have been like $12?? or near it for shipping. So, I thought about ordering then seperately and sure enough the first one was FREE s/h but when I went to order the second pair (seperately) the shipping will be $10. I'll try to find some in a store first, if not, then I'll order off of the internet. -

Thanks, The girls wants a pair of Bobs Shoes for their Birthday. Actually the oldest one does but, when the youngest one sees what her sissy got, she'd want the same thing too. So, I'll just get them both a pair and they'll match!! Thanks I really am NOT into the shoe & purse/pocketbook thing like they are but, then again, I don't change pocketbooks with each outfit, like they do. I'm NOT a fashionista person, at all. -
Bobs by Sketchers (Zappos, what/who is this?) or Toms by ????? (I don't know who makes these. Two of my granddaughters birthdays are coming up and htey want Bobs shoes. As I'm looking on the iternet, I also see Toms, that look just like the Bobs shoes? Whats the difference?

One of my cousins posted this on her FB page........... I saw a billboard advertisement in Carrollton for a "Bail Bondsman"... that said "student discount"...really???

We always go to Carl Black, (here you get free wi-fi, cokes/diet cokes, popcorn and/or hot dogs, can't beat it) this is where I bought my car from, $29.95. That's why we go there. This gives us a good excuse/reason to go to Jason's Deli and share a Corned Beef Sandwich on Rye or a Reuben Sandwich on Rye. Both are very good and they come with chips, also they have FREE muffins and FREE Ice Cream, in a cone or in a bowl. Then we go to CostCo, we really enjoy the days we go to Barrett Pkwy.

They had some really neat stuff, I walked thru there thinking......I'd like one of these and one of those and some more of this and more of that. I even saw an old contemporary bedroom set maybe from the late 60's, for $159. It was pretty cool!! I will take Hubby next time, I saw some rocking chairs that he would love!! I also saw some tables that I'd love to have but, they are just a tad bit too small. There was one table that would work but, I have BIG chairs and and all 4 wouldn't fit. And I'd like to be able to put all 4 under the table. Right now, I am only able to put 3 under the table.
