Reflections on Old Cartersville is great! My oldest started there when he was 2 and went through pre-k. He is 6 and still goes for before/after school care. My youngest is 1 and has been there since he was 6 weeks. We love it and are very happy.

for my son and niece's 2nd birthday, we did chick-fil-a. it was not expensive and the bonus of no clean-up was great. we only fed the kids - we figured if adults wanted to eat anything, they could buy their own food. we went to a chick-fil-a with an inside play place and it was great! good luck!

with my son, he had a small reward at the end of the week (could only have 1 off day) and then after a month, he got a big reward. example of small reward = matchbox car ($1) or popcorn at target ($1.50). example of a big reward = new dvd (could be a new release or one of the $5 dr. seuss movies). charts have been a wonder for us - potty training, behavior, etc.

i'm from lancaster, pa - we eat scrapple up there. if it is made right, it can be very good. however, i don't choose to eat it on a regular basis!

bottom line - things that carry a warning label that say, "not recommended for children, pregnant women, or people sensitive to caffeine," should not be given to children. energy drinks have warning labels. you wouldn't buy alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs for your children...right?

when my son was 2 1/2, he started showing real interest in the potty. since then (he'll be 3 in october) he's been peeing in the potty. we use stickers and skittles as rewards. 1 sticker or skittle for #1, 2 stickers or skittles for #2. here's the problem...we have had, like, 2 #2's...anyone have advice on how i can get him to bm in the potty. we are peeing in the potty like a champ...just not the other. talk about frustration! argh.

i've had my son at reflections for almost a year and i LOVE it! i recommend the dallas location highly! good luck :-)
