Addressing the question about shutter speeds: All cameras have various shutter speed settings. It's more of a matter knowing how to use them. Use fast shutter speeds for daylight only or action in the daylight. If you are using the camera indoors or at night, you can't use a fast shutter speed because no light will get into the lens. In this case, you will need to use your flash to get light in to your lens, or a longer aperture setting and a tripod of you don't want flash. True, knowing how to use a camera is key, especially with action shots and high shutter speeds. I picked mine by ratings and price, but mostly by the 16x zoom feature, because a 300mm zoom lens can be really expensive for a DSLR. Wholly crap!

It depends on how much you smoke. The oils in the cartridge only last for a little while, and replacements can get expensive.

Since I got carded, in person, I'm sure some are taking the responsibility not to sell to minors. As far as online, they do have it listed on every page, at least the reputable ones, but you are right that it could be tempting to minors. Most minors won't have a credit card anyway, unless the steal them from somebody. I know they do that sometimes. Personally, I would not advocate this for minors, but for smoker's over 18, day 3 for me, this product is really helping me to cut down on my cigarette usage, as it is satisfying my cravings so far. Actually, it's illegal for minors to buy them because they contain nicotine. There were signs posted at the mall shop, on the boxes, and all over the websites. I had to show my ID when I bought mine.
