    I stopped reading at "took 8 seconds to change a magazine". I would just hand the weapon to the intruder, I shouldn't be using it for defense. I would be able to change out 3 magazines or better in 8 seconds.

    Really???? Have to totally disagree with you on that, the guns would be in different hands, all the bad guys. If you happen to have any stats on that it would be interesting.

    So CC, would your plan be to ban all guns? Some say the war on illegal drugs is stupid cause it hasn't stopped the drug traffic, IMO, the same would be true of guns.
