Im going to assume you were not there to witness the exchange between the couple and the baker but if you have any viable backup to confirm your belief that this was a set up, share it. Maybe I’m wrong but I think all this is much ado about nothing. I mean isn’t there another bakery which would accommodate the request in their town? This baker said no so why couldn’t they just move on to the next baker instead of it being taken to the Supreme Court? Instead it became this great big issue about whose rights are being infringed upon. People really need to get a grip and grow the heck up. I didn’t start this thread for people to vent. I started it to start a conversation about Roseanne’s behavior. Evidently, no one wants to talk about that anymore so I thought it best to request that it be closed.

I think maybe the reboot was a special case. Perhaps Roseanne had such control over the show that the only way that ABC could squash the show was to completely shut it down. I’m not sure but I’m thinking it was such a money maker that ABC would have kept it on the air if at all possible but maybe the contract did not allow for anything other than her being in control of the show. At this point, I’m really wondering about her mental state. I mean from what I’m reading, this type of behavior is really nothing new for her.

Celebrating this witch hunt? Witch hunt? Roseanne Barr has no one but herself to blame for this mess. Stop trying to twist and turn this into her being some kind of victim. If there are any victims it’s all the people that lost their jobs because of her not being able to control herself.

LOL. Her nasally voice gets on my last nerve. I can’t defend her because this is like her third train wreck isn’t it? At what point does she smarten up and keep her mouth shut? BTW, ABC lost a ton of money with this decision. That’s why I was surprised they did this in the first place. If you think about it through, what choice did they have? Her words were so inflammatory I don’t think there’s any coming out of this statement.

Last time I checked The View was a talk show. Roseanne was billed as a comedy. Reality vs a situation comedy.......not sure that the two should be compared to each other.

I watched a few of the new shows. Most of Roseanne’s acting made me cringe but I admit, I was cheering for the reboot’s success until it started to tip into the twilight zone of politics.
