I stand by my responce. No ovens in the butlers pantry. It is a prep area for dirnks and of course extra storage. Primary cooking is still done in the kitchen. Put the fancy stuff there where everybody can see it. Then you can act like you know what it is and make your guests feel lesser than you. Even without the actuall butler.

Wouldn't that be immaculate.

Please go talk to a Kitchen Designer. Ovens don't go in the "Butlers Pantry". Liquor and a fridge, fine, but no ovens. WOW. Double ovens go through the wall or in an oven cabinet in your kitchen. Butlers answer the door and serve drinks. Leave the serious cooking to the chef in the kitchen.

Well, it is the same as air moving in your house. in the summer, fans set to blow down cool you directly. In the winter fans blow up to circulate the Hot air that rises. Oh, I hope you wern't being a smartass, I will have to change hats to respond to any smartass remarks. It won't take even a second, I can change moods in a flash. Get a big TV and stay out of the kitchen. Entertaining by showing off your appliances that you can't use would be funny to me but others would probably just shake their heads and leave.

Most of the time they will both be convection. Sometimes the one on top is a Microwave Convection, and the bottom is a convintional convection. It is complecated, but they are much more effective. Are the worth the cost? I don't think so, not yet.

Convection ovens circulate the heat around the food being cooked. Therefore not cooking primarily from the bottom. Cooking is faster, energy use is less.
