Sirens and helicopters around Nebo-Dallas/Nebo
Loose Caboose replied to DonBrownJr's topic in RECENT TOPICS
People, people - We must remember there will be three sides to this happening - The families side, the police side and the truth. Side one could be the truth, side two could be the truth, side three could be the truth OR A COMBINATION of the sides could be the truth. I feel for everyone involved may God's peace be with them -
Don, There are not many train shows or good train shops in this area. Have you looked into joining a club? There are some for N gauge as well as the other gauges. I worked for a real one for 35 years (NS) and have collected over the years but the new stuff they are coming out with is worlds ahead of what I have (the old kit cars). I have some Lionel I purchased for my son in 1979 all the other is HO. Loose Caboose

I don't know if they are still in business but I purchased some parts for a zero turn Cub Cadet from R&D Mowers, 343 Homer Cochran Road, Dallas, Georgia 770-443-4695. At that time looked like them had a good inventory of parts.

Anyone have recommendations for Bed & Breakfasts?
Loose Caboose replied to Constance's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you want to drive to Gatlinburg, stay at Eight Gables Bed & Breakfast. It is located just north of Gatlinburg. Exceptional food, beautiful rooms but I must add it takes deep pockets (Last trip for us it was around $170 plus tax and tip per night.) Although Eight Gables is in the high end, Sandra and I feel it is well worth it and will do it again soon. Web site www dot eightgables dot com Loose Caboose
