I appreciate everyone's point of view, but I happen to LIVE IT! In the last 3 years, people drop off their animals in a park near me, these animals have had litters under my shed two years in a row and we've now blocked that. But, those two cats out of the 5-6 more that kept showing up were spayed/shots etc.) by me (at my cost) and the kittens adopted into good homes, because I took the time to domesticate them. I can't keep doing this because of other people's irresponsibility. Also, in my neighborhood, a fellow died and left 5-6 cats with no plans for re-homing. I took it upon myself, and w -
I've lived in Paulding twenty years now, and yet out of all the intersections in and around busy Hiram etc. I've personally seen more accidents at Hiram Sudie/Carruth Pkway than any other and I don't drive every day and don't always go out from my home that direction either. But statiscally speaking, I've always wondered what the actual incident rate is for that intersection. This has made me not chose to go that way as frequently as in the past. Also, the several accidents I've seen were all very different-from different directions/turning etc etc. No two were alike! I hope the engineers c

Maxwell Farms, excellent products-jams, jellies, pickles, relish, spices and oh so good, sugar free apple butter! Try one of the ice cream toppings-FANTASTIC! Link to Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/maxwellfarms Also, the goat cheese vendor offers 4-balls to a tray and they are wonderful and when I've shared got rave reviews from every mouth. Strawberries from Southern Belle farm in McDonough, GA are the very best I've ever put in my mouth, and I'm not one to go on and on about strawberries. I hope they will come alllll the way up here as they are worth our support. YUM YUM

We are happy for the 2 puppies and 1 kitten that were adopted, but this is a very disappointing number of adoptions, considering the large volume of animals needing new homes and loving owners. TUESDAY is $10 adoption day at Animal Control, so please go by and find a fun and loving kitten or cat, puppy or dog that suits your family and will bring you smiles, and a feeling of being loved.

In one day, there were 20 cats and kittens brought into Animal Control-so PLEASE, PLEASE if you are looking for a new pet, cat or dog, kitten or puppy go by Sunday to the Dog Spot between 11-4 PM and see if there is a new sweet face that says," I'm just for you"!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND LEARN TO BE PROUD OF YOUR AGE, CAUSE THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT! At 68, with two back surgeries (so I can walk) and both hips replaced (again, so I can walk) I rue the day when medicine can't help me! Those are the :>( days so cheer up and pet an animal, hug a kid, kiss a tree and sit and learn in the sunshine of the day. Take a walk in the park-seriously and notice the green living things, smells, and sights that you would miss otherwise. I know you to be a person that does look to the bright side, so find it today! Sharing my favorite photo I took yea

Mr. Jack, Sissy, and Bootsie are still in need of homes. Bootsie, I will keep, if I can just find a place for the other two. They run up to my car every time I drive up to the house to feed them and know their names. The new homeowner has been very patient with our efforts to re-home these cats. They are not mean or vicious, but compliant and friendly, just not sure about us humans getting too close. They could be placed in an environment friendly neighborhood as long as they are kept caged for about 2 weeks to acclimate to new surroundings. I will have a cage that can be borrowed for the shor

One of my favorite cats, Jack, has shown back up at this house and I'd really like to find him a new home. He is shy and a very handsome tabby with a quiet manner. There are also the sisters, one that I will keep (Bootsie), if someone will take Sissy, a gray tabby and give her a yard to roam away from main traffic streets with some shelter and feeding at least once a day. These are not high maintenance cats, just independent. Please P.com message if you can offer a barn home or large yard with shelter for Jack or Sissy.

I've had several ticks on me through the years, including a "deer tick" that gave me Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, which is treated with tetracycline only and if early enough in process, can stop the symptoms, which can lead to death without a doubt. A red rash will show on upper inner arms and inner thighs ONLY, not over entire body. As my FP said the day I walked into his office with the worst headache ever and photo phobia etc. DO NOT PASS GO-Drive immediately to the hospital, there is no time to wait for an ambulance, because I'd been sick for 2-3 days before I sought medical care. There are still two sweet cats needing homes and yes, they are feral, but do come when called and are good hunters. They have their shots and are spayed, so no worries there. Please send me a P.com message or check Animal House for more info. A barn home or acres for them to keep free of rodent pests, would suit these sisters just fine.

Please help if you have a barn home or acres around your home that would benefit by having a cat to keep the mouse, mole, snake etc. populations down. I cannot capture the two cats remaining at this house unless I know they have a new home to go to within 48 hours. If you know of any other resources, I'll gladly accept the opportunity of investigating. Thanks to the wonderful couple that have taken the first two!

Success after days and days of trying to capture these beautiful cats. I have two going to a new home, but I still have two more that will need barn homes or a place with plenty of acreage. Please P.com message me and I hope we can save these wonderful spayed/neutered with shots too cats!

I'm looking at a neat idea but want to get feedback first

Hi Subby, I second the above comment. You'd spend time going back and forth for what? If a customer really wants a lawn mower/small engine repair, they will bring it to you. If they don't like your estimate of repair then they can go buy new or do whatever without any issues. You want the business, not the headaches of a website. If you advise someone who is untrained and they take it upon themselves to TRY and repair and get injured-what is your reliability-or LIABILITY? Nuff said? -
Yesterday and today a crew has been at the house painting and repairing, therefore, the cats are staying clear of the house and capture. I hope to capture sometime over the weekend and make some progress in getting them into a new more welcoming situation. If you have a barn or acres where a feral cat could manage to live in peace without endangerment and be fed once a day, please P.com message me anytime. I appreciate everyone's supporting statements and thank you for caring.

I had captured yet another feral cat last night and yet he was not one of our current pack needing re-homing! He was taken this AM down to West GA clinic for neutering and shots and I'll pick up tomorrow. I want to sincerely thank a couple that has asked for two of our pack upon capture for their yard to help keep the squirrels etc. in check. The cats have figured out that the capture cage does its job and I'm having difficulty getting them (despite not feeding for 2 days) to get in the cage! I won't let them go over 2 days without some food. Please message me or call if you can help wit

If you know of anyone with a farm/barn and willing to re-home sweet natured, not afraid of people, but not pets for children, cats, please message me and check out Animal House for more info. They will be killed by Animal control, if the new homeowner captures them instead of us. Not fair to sweet kittens that survived this horrible winter to die so early in life. We will continue to supply the food for them, as necessary, and they are all neutered and spayed with rabies shots! Please help and thanks.

I'm spending my days trying to cage capture the cats, and have one in my totally enclosed pet pen, but I'm still in need of new homes for these sweet natured cats. Please spread the word to anyone with space/barn or willing to have an outside cat only (keeps the mice/moles/snakes away). Thanks P.com and I hope to hear from someone soon!

We really need P.com animal lovers to help us re-home/find barn homes for some wonderful cats. The homeowner died last year and two of us have been keeping them alive for the past year at the residence, outside of course, by feeding once a day. Pictures coming soon-in Animal House posting, as I can take them. They are shy of humans, but will come close and know who we are, so may be possible to tame more. The new homeowner has given us one week to capture or re-home and this is more than difficult to say the least. Please check out Animal House posting for more details and contact info. P

PUBBY U B "THE MAN OF THE HOUR" for goodness sake! Your efforts have benefited so many people in so many ways that it blows my mind thinking about it. Having met you in person, and knowing your kind ways and generous heart, I couldn't be more happy or proud of your accomplishment than to say, from the bottom of my heart you are loved and I'm glad for your success.
