I understand though that if the power is out and the traffic lights are out that it is understood as a 4 way stop.

I am just curious about the state of Georgia compared to other states regarding speed limits in construction zones. When I am in other states the signs tell drivers that fines are doubled in construction zones when workers are present. When I see the construction zones in Georgia it sates that speeding fines are doubled but it doesn't mention anything about when workers are present. I'm guessing that they can write a ticket anytime in a construction zone regardless if workers are present or not. As a matter of fact, I see these zones all of the time in Georgia and I will not see the first cons

They just recently lowered the speed limit on 120 at the Avenues from 55 to 45 mph. I always thought that 55 was too fast for that congested area and apparently someone else did too.

Powder Springs Day and 175th Birthday Celebration
rdboyd88 replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The square is right at Pineview Drive. The buildings surround it. Get there early! They are expecting a lot bigger turnout than the 4th of July. Marietta Street closes at 4. Parking at First Baptist is you best bet like lowrider said if you get there early enough. -
Powder Springs Day and 175th Birthday Celebration

The square in Powder Springs is small so I suggest getting there early. Men In Blues starts at 6:00 and The Little River Band goes on stage at 8:00. Don't forget this hit -

Video of the Cinestar 8

The Yonderblue guys that were at the museum had to have a clean up crew follow them after the shots they took inside the museum. The quad was kicking up all of the dust that was on top of the dinosaurs. They always operate with two people when videotaping. One operator will fly the quad while the other is controlling the gimbal on another remote control with live video transmitted from the quad. They were using a Canon 5D for videotaping and the quad is a Cinestar 8. By the time you purchase everything you will easily go over 10k! The gimbal itself is very expensive. The good thing about a G

Hey Pubby try out this website called yonderbluefilms.com and go to their gallery page. They have done some amazing video! I actually met these guys while they were filming at the museum one day. They will also be teaching a class in Atlanta on Aerial Cinematography on October 25-27 at the Sheraton in Atlanta. There are also a lot of workshops on that weekend dealing with all aspects of videography. Go to http://www.southeast...tivesummit.com/

The same thing happened to me too. I was in another line with a cart full and the express cashier tells me to come over to her register and I told her that I had a lot of items and she says that's ok so I go over there and she starts scanning my items and sure enough about 3 people get behind me and I could tell they were mad. The cashier finally told them the situation and that put me off the hook. Another gripe I have is when someone pays by check. It's fine if you use a check but just be ready to write the check when the cashier is done and has the total. They are either reading a magaz

The Powder Springs 4th of July event has officially been cancelled for tomorrow. A reschedule date has not been announced yet but they will celebrating the 175th anniversary of Powder Springs on October 5th this year and The Little River Band will be performing for that event and the admission is free.

Xfinity said the speeds would be doubling for free. My service was 20mb download which means that I should be at 40mb now. I got my cable bill lowered when I called them about an offer I got from AT&T Uverse and Xfinity matched their price so I don't have to change anything.

Their website isn't up anymore. I was getting prices last Sunday and it was working then. www.pbcbowl.com

Powerade still contains BVO so I guess you could mix it with 50% Gatorade to keep the flames calm. I have to admit that a flaming energy drink sounds pretty cool though! Just not on a hot summer day.

Gatorade Will Remove Flame Retardant Chemical From Its Beverages By Sy Mukherjee on Jan 29, 2013 at 12:05 pm Gatorade will stop putting brominated vegetable oil (BVO), a synthetic chemical that is used as a flame retardant, into its products after a barrage of complaints, the Los Angeles Times reports.
-
Why the U.S. Allows It: BVO acts as an emulsifier, preventing the flavoring from separating and floating to the surface of beverages. Health Hazards: “Because it competes with iodine for receptor sites in the body, elevated levels of the stuff may lead to thyroid issues, such as hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease, and cancer. That's not all. BVO's main ingredient, bromine, is a poisonous chemical that is considered both corrosive and toxic. It's been linked to major organ system damage, birth defects, growth problems, schizophrenia, and hearing loss, which explains why it's been

13 Banned Foods Still Allowed in the U.S. Did you know that Kraft macaroni and cheese contains Yellow #6 which is made from coal tar? I checked the Great Value brand and it has it also. I know that everything in the world causes cancer but I'm going to slow the progression a little bit by looking closer at the ingredients on the labels. I guess the big food companies need to maximize their profits at the expense of our health. Here is a list of other bad stuff to look for when reading the ingredients Ingredients: Coloring agents (blue 1, blue 2, yellow 5, and yellow 6) Found In: C

The biggest problem with ammo and guns that are stored in a safe is condensation. If your safe is in the basement make sure that you have a dehumidifier running. I read in another article that gun powder can ignite at temperatures above 350 degrees and being that the safes are rated at 350 degrees you should be fine. I will do some more research and get back to you with this.
-
To safely store photographs, cds and dvds, flash drives, sd cards or anything made out of plastic you need to have a media safe that is rated at 125 degrees. Standard fire safes are rated at 350 degrees which is only safe for paper documents. Media safes are more expensive than fire safes because of the temperature rating and the thickness of the safe. You might be ok with a fire safe in the basement for storing media because my neighbors house burned down a few years ago and most everything in the basement was ok with the exception of some water damage from putting out the fire. The way that

I have had Square since it first came out and I have never had any issues with them. When I signed up for the service they sent me the reader for my iphone for free. I'm not sure if the reader is free anymore. I did notice that they sell the Square reader at Wally World for about 10.00 bucks but if you go through Square directly it still might be free.. I also like the fact that they don't charge you more for American Express transactions than VIsa, Mastercard, or Discover transactions. Plus no monthly fees!

It all started when my neighbors house burned down and they were trying to recover some items the next day. Most of their pictures were burned and some were repairable with photoshop. Most people don't even think about all of their pictures in shoe boxes in their closet or video tapes in the entertainment center until after the fact. To be prepared, start transferring your home videos to dvd and make an extra copy to give to a friend or family member just in case something happens. You can also put them in a safe deposit box. As far as your old photographs are concerned, start scanning them a
