I was donating items at St. Vincent de Paul in Dallas last year and while I was there a truck was delivering brand new mattresses. They came in on a truck from Atlanta but I can't remember what kind they were but they looked really nice. They had all sizes and were priced lower than any I've ever seen in a store including membership stores. The lady there said they sell out very fast so you may want to call first if you're interested.

The best place to report this scam is with the Federal Trade Commission - There's a lot of good info regarding scams, identity theft, etc. on the FTC website as well.

I believe it's going to be a new county park. I read about the plans in one of the papers a little over a year ago. It was originally supposed to be completed by fall 2014.

Their Pcom name is "surepip." He's the one who posts all those wonderful recipes and cooking tips. I don't know them either, but I sure enjoy his posts and envy his cooking skills!

How about Pike Nurseries? I saw their work at a neighborhood entrance and it looked beautiful. In fact, I see them there a couple of times a year changing out some of the plants. Good luck!

surepip, I enjoy your dinner threads and glad you're back. We don't know each other but I have read you were ill and hope you're feeling better. Now...where in the world did you learn to cook like that???!!! Sure wish I had such talent in the kitchen!

Thank you for posting that info, Mrs. G. Yes, it is true you do have to pre-register, but (at least in my experience), not quite that far in advance. For a current sale (starting today), I was able to pre-register and receive a seller number in one day, just a week or so before the sale. (I had procrastinated up until the last minute!) Many of the sales have become automated over the last few years and it's much easier to register and enter your items online.

Adult clothes or children's clothes? Asking because there are several kids' consignment sales coming up (soon!) and you'll get more for your items there as opposed to selling with a shop.

Hated it. Wasted a perfectly good date night on it, too. And my husband fell asleep during it!!!

Here's a good and EASY Greek Salad... 12 oz tri-color or penne pasta 1 cup grape tomatoes (halved) 6 oz can sliced black olives 1 cup diced bell pepper (I used red) 1 cup diced cucumber 4 oz container feta cheese Salt & pepper to taste 16 oz bottle Italian Salad Dressing Cook the pasta, cool it under running water & drain well.
