Those are fair numbers. The bottom line is that I'm not trying to "bamboozle" my wife. She has said no to this point that that is the only reason that I didn't ride one work this morning. Anyway, enough of this abuse after just asking adivice on how to get my wife to let me have one I got hammered about being the worst dad in the world when I've done more for my kids, my late wife, and my current wife that most men do in a lifetime. Psycho mom, you are turning this into something totaly "phycho". So do you agree that these things increase your risk of harm or death? Flying in a plane, driving a car, walking across the street, taking medication, having surgery? If so then you are making my point for me. You can't just say that riding a motorcycle is the only think that increases this risk, if you are saying that then you are a total hypocrite. And if you own a car, I guess you are selfish too because walking wherever you need to go is much safer.............right?

Tornado, I agree w/ everything you said and that is the best advice I have rec'd. I think I will make a list so she can have something to hold in her hand and see what my intentions are. My kids would not become orphans thank you. You can't control anyting in life and I'm tired of hearing the argument that it increased the risk of death or injury.......do you really need to get in the car and drive to the beach? That increases your chances of getting into an accident. Do you really need to fly to New York city? That increased your chances of dying in a plane crash. I am just choosing not to live in fear of death. Sorry if some people don't agree but I do appreciate all of the input, I never expected this much feedback..........wow. B AJ, thanks for noticing

Went to see the Hangover last night(which was great by the way) and when we came out around 11:30 there was a line out of the movies and 1/2 way down the mall to see the midnight showing. They were playing it on 7 screens last night after midnight? I even saw some dudes dressed up in transformer gear? wow

Well, I have actually been in her place and had to tell my (2) children at that point that thier mommy has passed away from Ovarian cancer @ age 29. She didn't smoke, ride a motorcycle, or skydive..........so life is too short not to do what you want. That changed my life and my motto now is that if you want something...........go get it! I have since remarried and have one more beautiful daughter and I know motorcycles are dangerous.........but that doesn't stop me from wanting one. B Ray

I have 3 little ones....10,7,4. I am not experienced but would take a safety course for sure! I am not going to be one of those crazy drivers darting in and out of traffic. It is a cruiser bike not a crotch rocket and yes I can lick my eyebrows.

1. I would pay for the motorcylce in full. 2. Yes, I can pay cash. Money is no issue, the bike is about $4300. 3. I have wanted a bike for years......I have a Jeep Wrangler and drive it alot. So now what?

I want a Vstar 1100 motorcycle really bad but my wife is NOT on board w/ the idea. How do I get her to agree to let me get one.....I'm looking for good advice here! Thanks, B
