I think good clean debates are a great thing for the voters. I also think voters should be able to ask some question and have them answered off the cuff.

I thought about voting for Will but with Animal pushing for him so hard, there must be something wrong there. So I won't be voting for Will either.
Talk to Mr. Avery before you decide. At the rate animal is going he could very well be working for the other side to cause problems.

Does anyone know what happened between the local GOP and Animal to turn him so much against that group ? I mean in past elections, Animal was Mr Republican, and literally Mr Paulding Republican to the Nth degree.
He was "The Sign Man" for any and all Republican Candidates do or die, right or wrong.

Don't get me wrong, I have watched that Clique that runs the local GOP pull every string possible to help out "Their" slate of "R" candidates and turn their backs on other GOP candidates.
And I agree with Animal that they have totally screwed up in the district 19 race.
Richardson leaves office in disgrace. Turns out Romeo was lying about his AGL Lobbyist and got his tail [or something else] caught in the crack.
So we follow up with Mr Stout, who in his transparency forgot about a rather large skeleton rattling about in his closet.
And now we end up with Paulette "Cynthia McKinney" Braddock as our "R" choice ?!?!?

I would think twice about that . The way he goes about it he will lose more votes for someone than get them. He would be the VERY LAST person I would want on my side if I need votes.

Sorry but no I am NOT a Republican. I do vote for the PERSON and NEVER for a "party". To me those that vote for a party are doing nothing but harming this country. I research and then make an informed chose. Am I always right? NO but when I am wrong I will work 10 times harder to make sure that person does NOT keep doing damage. I am also often now force to decide between 2 people who I feel are both wrong but I have to decide who will do the least damage.

Yea and some of Paulette's supporters blasted Stout in the primaries, And left the halo hanging over Paulette’s, head I intend to campaign for Will Avery based on the issues, But if Paulette's campaign gets off the issues rest assured I will respond.
Just so you know one of those supporters that can no longer post here that supports Paulette used another web site to post all sorts of untruths about the candidates he opposed, and has said a lot worse things about Will Avery and His supporters than Animal has posted.
I will be more than happy to campaign for Will on the basis of Paulette's Tax and Spend habits while serving on the School Board, Or her inability to manage a budget both while serving on the School Board and as a small business owner.
In 2008 the voters of Paulding County decided that she was not worthy of another term managing the school system and she was soundly defeated

If you are student of history, you'll recog It replaced the 40 acres and a mule narrative that led to 30 years of dominance of the American scene in the period after the Civil War.
Actually, that was the narrative pushed by Karl Rove. Certainly there is blame enough to go around and it doesn't stop with those with a R following their name but we can see, even with a minority in both the house and Senate, the GOP can stop even needed, necessary spending such as an extension of unemployment benefits.
But it is obvious the GOP, taking direction from the political adviser Rove, pushed this narrative because the homes being built were in the suburbs and the suburbs are notoriously conservative Republican voters. Here is a blog post that explains that.
So what's the deal?
Well in the 1950's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's when Democrats were pushing for things like expansion of the FHA and expanding funding to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the Republican's could be counted on to be the stingy Uncle who said, NO, NO, NO ... thus moderating the situation and keeping things from getting out of hand.
But when Rove saw the opportunity to engage the latinos' as GOP voters, he knew not only would he have to promote amnesty for them (and an easy path to citizenship) but also have them look to the GOP as their benefactors. Coupling that with the natural conservatism of the Latino bred into their culture by Catholicism, he saw and was predicting 50 years of Republican rule.
So, following Rove's advice, the brakes traditionally applied by the GOP over housing expansion, were removed and indeed, the big foot of both parties was put on the accelerator.
The result was the housing boom ... and resulting crash that is the cause of the economic meltdown.
And the reason was the Rove sought to have the GOP abandon its conservative fiscal policy to buy off and gain a loyal following of the Hispanic community at the ballot box.
One thing I've noticed the GOP is excellent at is condemning others for the things they've done. They operate on the theory if you say it was the other guy long enough, you can win the debate by tarring your opponent with your failures.

The sad thing is that a good bit of what you just posted is true...but you just could NOT stop and just had to try and do the tarring yourself. Anyone who does not see that BOTH sides do this is blind and we will forever be in the same mess. I am SICK of all this tit for tat and little digs. Maybe one day people will wake up and decide to work for the betterment of the people and not their own Party lines.

While I can not control what any of my supporters say just as I can't control what anyone who doesn't support me says, I do not condone the way Animal is presenting me. While he is a supporter of mine, I think it should be toned down and lets look at the issues rather than at "he said she said" kinds of arguments.
This thread is not the place for any discussion of me, my campaign, or my supporters comments about me or my opponent. This thread is about a family that is going through troubling times. Regardless of how we all feel politically, we all need to keep the family in our prayers an keep politics out of this discussion for now.
Sorry if any of my supporters have offended anyone.

You know it REALLY REALLY worries me that someone like you is pushing Will Avery...makes me VERY worried about even thinking about voting for him. You know they say crazy is as crazy does and you are known for the people you have around you. I see if he does not do something about this it could cause him to loose many votes and maybe the race as well. I guess he needs to decide just how much "help" you are and IF you are worth it...that will tell me alot about what kind of man he really is. If he can not keep his "so-called" supporter in line or if he does not publicly put a distance between you and him then we will all know what he is really made of. Of course it may be that you are really out to hurt him and you are really working for the other side and this is just your underhanded way of going about it. If so it is working. It is not Will Avery names being talked about as much as it is YOURS and Mr. Avery is only getting a secondary mention and a question about just how connected he is to you.

First let me say that I do not know Mr. Cochran, The Cochran Family, and I did not vote for Beverly Cochran for several reasons however, please remember that this man is innocent until proven guilty. As the family member of a person that was falsely accused of sexual assault, we found it to be the other way around. People assume guilt when sexual assault or molestation is involved. Praise God my family member was cleared of all charges and the accuser was found guilty of lying about the entire incident. While Mr. Cochran may be guilty, this has to be proven in a court of law. Just reminding everyone......
I agree and all this "float this hypothetical" crap is just tring to tar her with the same brush.

Folks ... First off, it is too early to schedule a debate.
When a debate or discussion happens, it will happen at the behest of Pcom, the Chamber or possibly the PBA ... or all three. These are the groups that have arranged for these types of events.
Mrs. Braddock has been very gracious in appearing on PCOM and I fully expect her to be on pcom talking, if not with Will directly, possibly with folks like Nathan Deal, Sam Olens or even Casey Cagle or David Ralston (or other state officers).
That said, what Animal says about a 'debate' ... whether he wants one or not ... whom he thinks will win or not ... is what Animal says. You can think and say pretty much whatever you want about Animal says but to deny him the right or opportunity to say what he thinks is really not kosher. You know, like trying to invoke some kind of censorship on his thoughts and beliefs.
In other words, Paulette went toe-to-toe with Daniel Stout and came out just fine and Daniel, IMO, was good at debate and public speaking. He knocked them dead in the first debate to win the office and did a good job head to head with Paulette just a few weeks ago. Bottom line, I don't think Paulette is scared or seeking in any way to dodge a debate with Will.
Further, rather than reacting negatively to Animal, if I were a Paulette supporter I'd be out there saying just that ... that she has not only has the conservative family values that you endorse but that she is an articulate and effective voice for those ideas and ideals.

I have no idea what she will do and I have not decided which way I will go with this. I still have to look at both and decide who I think will be best for me. I am not at this time backing anyone. Being I am neither a Dem. or a Rep. I just vote for who I think will be best. I have learned along the way that you ARE often judged by the company you keep.

Why would you want Paulette to avoid an open and honest discussion of the topics, state fiscal challenges, and other policies that the voters of district believe to be important? I don't understand how that would be of benefit to the people trying to pick the best person for the job.
Because we all know there are debates and there are ambuses...when people like the OP have anything to do with it I see no way for it to be a real debate. I say she needs to avoid anything to do with this OP.....no good comes from something like this....for anyone.
